Amazons Customer Service
So I emailed Amazon today asking them if instead of them mailing me a cheque for my MacBook $100 rebate I could get a gift voucher in that amount. Amazon just replied apologizing telling me that wasn’t possible but gave me a $15 gift voucher for any inconvenience caused by this situation!
They are always super friendly. When I ordered my MacBook they originally told me my package would ship on the 15th of June, they then told me they would ship it earlier on June 9th and as compensation (don’t ask) they upgraded my shipping. They then told me there was a delay and my package would actually ship on the 20th of June and gave me a $30 voucher as compensation. My package finally ended up shipping on the 13th!
They have the best customer service ever.

This retailer has the best customer care ever! ^_^
I ordered few books, with some preorders among them. I chose Free Shipping (thru Aramex), this naturally delays shipping to the farthest release date of the preordered books.
I couldn’t help myself wonder if it’s possible to have the last predered book in-stock before its release date (which happens sometime), so that my order gets shipped out a bit earlier than estimated. When I emailed them on that, they misunderstood my query into splitting my order and shipping what’s currently in-stock and offered me a “one-time-exception” free partial shipping! It all sounded so good, but I just could stand the idea of exhausting an option I didn’t opt to… When I emailed them back explaining this misunderstanding, they returned that “one-time-exception” free partial shipping back, with that order still being partially shipped for free!

I can live with smart & generous - as opposed to smart & greedy :)

well good to hear that there is a proper customer service out there but in kuwait it can turn to a heated argument and at the end a disgruntled relationship.
