BEIRUT|TOUCHDOWN

Just got to Beirut around an hour ago (midnight Beirut time). I am here for work and only staying for 5 nights. The airport in Kuwait was packed, the airport in Lebanon was packed, I hate traveling during the summer.

I’d rather be in Cannes,France like i did last year.
I’m stuck here till the 15th of aust. :(

Aziz – have you tried any of Leb’s gorgeous beach resorts? How about the ruins? Or the clubs? Also, just because you’re on a diet, doesn’t mean you can’t go out & eat healthy at the same time.

HAHAHA, In Beirut and you are bored, it seems you donno your way around.
Malls, what the hell, we don’t go to Malls for fun in Lebanon for Fun. (Malls for fun is a khaleeji thing, cause nothing else to be done)
Mate, I can list a million thing from the top of my head, its number one destination this year. I agree traffic Jam is annoying but it is fun if you are heading to SkyBar, White, Budha Bar, Batroun, Jbeil, Laklouk, Ceaders, etc………… Beleive me Aley and Bhamdoun are not a target for fun.
    Cheers

    SLIMR :
    1. Im A mussluim so i dont drink.
    2. Been to jbeil batroun faqra sayda zahla and much more
    3. This is my 14th time in leb. and by far the worst year.

Lots of things have changed and there are more khaleeji’s this year than ever before (to the naked eye).

    Aziz, how old are you?
Plus, you should have gone to Saudi or something, Lebanon is the wrong place for you.

    Stafa:
Mu age has nothing to do with this.

Aziz – to Stafa’s defense, I too believe that age has everything to do with it. Why? For the simple fact that there are different activities for different age groups.

As for your comment that because you’re a Muslim many of the places mentioned earlier are not appropriate for you . . . well, I guess that would depend on how you choose to live your life. If it’s a matter of the fact that you don’t drink alcohol, then I see no reason why you should refrain from going to SkyBar or Budah Bar because although they may serve alcohol, drinking it is NOT a requirement in any of these venues. Now, if you prefer to not dance, or mingle with the opposite sex, then that’s a whole other matter.

In the end, none of us can really tell you where to go or what to do with your time in Lebanon without a bit of guidance from you in terms of likes, dislikes, religious expectations, or age limitations.

Aziz I respect your life style, but Lebanon is a fun place for all, and as SMK mentioned, it depends on your expectations, Try rafting in the Asi river it would be great. Can give you a lot of ideas if you say whats ur interests.
    Cheers
