Just wanted to boast to other video gamers that I am currently downloading the Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer Beta for the Xbox 360. Since I am a gamespot.com member I was given an activation key for the download. Gamespot rules! [Link]

You don’t have a 360. Even with 1mbit we’re still in kuwait, so latencies to other countries is going to be high, therefore producing a high ping. Such as America, UK, etc. Please stop bullshitting Patrick and get your facts right.

You know as well as I do that my brother has a 360 and I’ve played GRAW 2 on Live, there was no lag. The only time we experienced lag is when both my brother and I were playing split screen on live.
So stop being a pansy and randomly calling people bullshitters =)

Not all games will lag, you just have to pick the right matches and there are a lot of matches to choose from that wont give you a lag problem.
Come on, you can’t be stupid enough to believe every single game will lag, are you? =)

What I’m saying is genius you’ll never have 5ms or so ping. Your shots won’t always be exactly connecting, there’ll be some delay before it hits. Cause we are in t3h kuwait.

Umm Mo Hat, there is no lag. You need to get xbox live and try it out, its fucking amazing. I’ve played GRAW 2, Rainbow Six, PGR3, Winning 11 and a ton of other games online without any issues. At Marzouqs place we play 4 people on his 360 online with other teams and we also never had a problem.

Oh and no one can get 5ms ping, even if you were in the US, even if you were playing in a Kuwaiti server… That’s just ridiculous!

Actually you can on a Kuwaiti server. CounterStrike Source. So no it’s just not ridicolous. And try playing Gears of War guys and you’ll see what I mean about lag.

Played gears of war, 2 on one xbox in kuwait online with others. no lag there even. get an unmodded xbox and xbox live and try it, its a lot of fun.

lol Mo Hat, the 5 ping in CSS is not your real ping, to find your REAL ping you type ‘ping’ in console and look for your name. My real ping is something like 50 last I checked (5 in the tab screen).
Like Mark said get an unmodded 360 and play online, you should be ashamed you dont have Live.
