Crest White Strips Premium

crest white strips

Yesterday while at Sultan Center I picked up a box of Crest White Strips Premium. I don’t like going to the dentist so I decided this was a better way to whiten my teeth. The way these strips work is twice a day for 7 days you put this film over your teeth that contains a gel for 30 minutes. After 7 days your teeth become really white. Sounds too good to be true but I read a lot of online reviews and they all seem to say that it works.

I put them on today morning before I left for work since by the time I get dressed, and drive to work its a perfect 30 minutes. It was a really strange experience. First you better hope no one talks to you while you have the strips on and no one calls you because you can’t talk with these things on. The second thing I noticed is the saliva build up. Its like being at the dentist except without the suction tube which sucks.

I am going to take a “before” picture once I get home. I won’t post it online cuz that would be gross but I will take the shot for myself just so I can have something to compare to after 7 days and then post my findings here.

just be careful you have no veneers or fillings on the front parts of your teeth because these whitening products make teeth whiten at different rates than the veneers/fillings (which can sometimes be discoloured – in a bad way – by whitening products). But it probably says that on the box anyway.

I tried the 14 day version, it works. Your teeth might hurt sometimes bc of the sensitivity.

  3. 3. chikapappi | August 30th, 2006 at 11:42 am

I went crazy looking for those bas my dentist didn’t recommend using’em and they were sold in particular places (so I guess all dentists used that excuse – the it ain’t good for the teeth, enamel o gums to make us go to them!) …

    Dunno, just read this: http://www.dental-picture-show.com/teeth_bleaching/a44_teeth_whitening_safety.html

Ahmed yeah I found that weird.

The White Strips Classic which takes longer, 14 days to whiten teeth costs KD14.

The White Strips Premium which comes in a nicer plastic box and takes half the amount of time to whiten costs KD12.5

    Good ResultO ;)

not worth the risk. I prefer a healthy teeth instead of milky white…as most of the whitening creams, gels and polishing affects your gums, tissues and nerves…

  16. 16. Dubai Sunshine | August 30th, 2006 at 8:59 pm

I tried them once a couple of years ago…and they do work. I did feel a bit of sensitivity, but nothing major. I don’t think they’re sold in the UAE though…I have yet to find them…

  17. 17. extinctdodo | August 31st, 2006 at 5:34 am

  20. 21. Dana | December 18th, 2006 at 9:59 am

I am hurting from the premium white strips. I left them on a tad too long, and my teeth are all I can think of. They just HURT. Advil isn’t killing the pain either. I have a final tomorrow and I can’t study or sleep. These teeth better be DAMN white lol.

  21. 22. Ash | January 9th, 2007 at 7:17 am

Please….never…ever…EVER…EVVVVEEERRR…buy these. In terrible pain right now. My teeth hate me…..I have been using them for 2 days….my teeth are so mad. No one really cares about tooth colour….don’t know why I did. owy. telling everyone not to buy these things…..ouch!

  22. 23. Jeremiah | January 12th, 2007 at 9:59 am

Has anyone ever used an entire box of these in one day? And if so > can you whiten your teeth just as much as waiting for fourteen days?

  23. 24. sam | January 12th, 2007 at 11:51 pm

thats the stupidest thing ever dont use the whole box in one day. your teeth will hurt.

  24. 25. dani | January 24th, 2007 at 3:45 am

i was going to buy these things right now…but idk now……my teeth are gross, but i dont want them to hurt!!!

  25. 26. Cherie | January 31st, 2007 at 9:30 am

Im on my second day of the premiums and my teeth are SOOO sensitive. They’ve been like this from the time I woke up to right before bed. Results are signifigant though

  26. 27. zoe | February 7th, 2007 at 7:18 am

i’m on like day three of premium and my teeth are really white, but while i have them on my gums kind of throb painfully. i’m gonna say it’s worth it though.

    no pain no pleasure.

  27. 28. Kelly | February 23rd, 2007 at 8:36 am

I was on my 3rd day of the crest strips premium and i was getting so many complements but my teeth were a little sore. the i got a lazer bleeching treatment and i hurt like hell i cant belive i spent $500 on that and i was not able to eat anything that can stain a white shirt for 24 hours “and get this my teeth went back to the same color they were in like a 2 week.”

  28. 29. kim | March 29th, 2007 at 12:59 am

ive been using the crest white strips for about three days and my teeth hurt like hell. i agree with not being able to fall asleep because they’re achingggg. but i can see a difference and hey no pain no gain!

  29. 30. Tyler | April 19th, 2007 at 2:46 am

I have been using them for 2 days now and i thought something was wrong because my teeth wouldn’t stop throbbing as well as my gums. These freakin’ things better work awesome because i can barely think they hurt so bad.

  30. 31. Anne | May 4th, 2007 at 3:13 pm

I’ve only used the Crest Classic strips, for the beginners I guess?…and my teeth did start to hurt after the third day. Like I couldn’t even eat cereal. I started using that Sensodine toothpaste midthrough the box and it got rid of most of the pain. Now I’m using the Classics again and I started brushing my teeth with sensodine like 2 days before I started the Crest box and I haven’t felt any pain at all…I’m on day 6 so I think it’s a pretty good combination. And the results are totally worth it

  31. 32. amber | May 13th, 2007 at 7:02 pm

I just got them and i have sensitive teeth to begin with and they hurt pretty bad.. not fun

  32. 33. muddy | June 14th, 2007 at 6:59 pm

I am on day 3 and my teeth are all I can think about, kind of the feeling when you get something waaay to cold on them! Anyhow, yes it matters what your teeth look like! And using the whole box in one day???? NO, need I say more. The results are awesome and they are not to expensive especially if you compare it to what the dentist will charge!

  33. 34. Calli | July 4th, 2007 at 8:13 am

I got Crest Whitestrips for my birthday and I think they are really working. Although it will probably take all ten days for the full effect, my teeth are slowly getting whiter and I know I will be happy with the final results. The only problem is, I have very sensitive teeth. For example, I can’t even eat hard candy or any other candy anymore because my teeth will end up hurting for like three days. Well, anyway, the Whitestrips work, but they will hurt if your teeth are sensitive. I have used Sensodine toothpaste before and I know it REALLY works, so you could use that, but I’m just going to endure the pain because I think, after using this product, I will feel better about my teeth because they are whiter. So, good luck with all of your teeth!

  34. 35. Thorgy | July 8th, 2007 at 4:01 am

Does anyone know the difference between the Classic (14) days, and Premium Packages.

As far as I can tell the chemical composition on the strips is the same (is there anyway to deduce if there is actually a more concentrated dose of bleaching agent on the premium strips?) and just the packaging is more pleasing to the eye.

  35. 36. Armando | August 8th, 2007 at 10:04 am

Okay, so this is my second time using the Crest Premium Whitening Strips. And for the most part. I am absoultely satisfied with the results. I’m on day two of my 10 day process and I seriously already see a difference.

I dont have yellow teeth or anything, never did. But i just love my movie star smile, haha

I got some pics, go to my myspace

hey, does anyones get a cracking sound then lots of pain when using those whitening strips? It only lasts a few minutes but its very painful. Any ideas wut that’s about??

  37. 38. Alex | August 29th, 2007 at 9:52 pm

Today was my first time using crest whitestrips premium and I already feel my teeth more sensible .. it hurts. I recomend these only if you don`t have sensitive teeth.

  38. 39. Mahmoud | September 1st, 2007 at 6:25 pm

Umm, I got the crest Renewal strips, couldnt find the premium or classic. Anyways im using them back to back. The first day I used it as instructed, but since i got them at night i used them back to back wihtout brushing my teeth first, and I felt no pain at all. Today morning however i brushed my teeth and put them on back to back, and for exactly 30 mins each. now my lower teeth hurt. Anyways, I suggest u put them on one b4 lunch and one b4 dinner or sumthin. My mother whos a dentist said that the hydrogen peroxide in the strips melts a layer off of the enamel ( the outer layer of teeth) and thus i shouldnt try putting a strong dose, nore brush my teeth and put them directly on. Anyway the pain in my lower teeth is very tolerable, not as excrutiating as you guys say

  39. 40. Shannon | October 8th, 2007 at 9:17 pm

I put on my first pair of premium strips last night at midnight and I woke up at 4 in the morning in horrible pain. I had to run to the store and buy some pain relief. It still hurts horribly today and its past 11. I am praying the pain will stop soon. I am giving the rest of my box away and just gonna deal with the color of my teeth. This is soooooo- not worth having white teeth. At least for me.

  40. 41. Ranae A | November 2nd, 2007 at 8:26 am

My teeth hurt SOOO BAD !! I have class at 8 am and I cannot go to sleep! It’s not worth it. I took a pain pill AND a muscle relaxer and can’t feel either of them working because my teeth hurt so bad!!!!!! …. Im ready to pull all my hair out! ITS NOT WORTH IT ….. I’m never using them again

  41. 42. Bean | November 13th, 2007 at 7:46 am

PAIN!!! Can’t sleep, can’t think, can’t believe I used these things. Pulsing heart beat of pain for 24hrs!

  42. 43. jenn | December 2nd, 2007 at 4:56 am

im using the classics. they are on right now actually.
there is alot of pain, in the gums and the tips of my teeth. not excruiating but annoying for sure. why the pain?

  43. 44. nicole | December 6th, 2007 at 7:05 pm

I got through day two of the Premium strips, then woke up at 3am in pretty bad pain. I didn’t know it was the strips! So I actually went to our dental clinic out here and wasted their time on accident. The pain made me cry, which is embarrassing. I think the side-effects in the packaging are amusing: “mild sensitivity.” Ha. that’s like “mild discomfort” when you get staples in your stomach. they should be more realistic with the warnings – i wouldn’t have bought them. I hear the pain is due to chemicals in the gel irritating the nerves inside teeth. it’s temporary and has nothing to do with the enamel… not the pain part, anyway. Yeesh. It’s the end of the day… still waiting for the pain to subside, Aspirin notwithstanding.

  44. 45. valerie | December 27th, 2007 at 6:41 pm

NEVER AGAIN. Its day two and it feels like i’m getting a root canal. 30 bucks down the drain…

  45. 46. preet | December 31st, 2007 at 8:13 am

ive been using the strips for 6 days now and i dont feel much pain..just barely any sensitivity and i think they are working..my smile is starting to look great…haha america’s next top model HERE I COME [:

  46. 47. preet | December 31st, 2007 at 8:15 am

oh and i forgot to mention its the classic kind i didnt wanna spend 10 dollars more ahhah xmas shopping a’course

  47. 48. Martin C. | January 3rd, 2008 at 10:38 pm

I’m on day 6 with the Whitestrip premiums, and I just started noticing pain today in my front upper teeth. Not too bad though, just “mild discomfort”. I think the pain reaction is very dependent on the user; some people have much more sensitive teeth than others.

As for the results, my teeth are very very noticeably whiter. I drink coffee a lot, which has stained my teeth over the years. Definitely worth the money and effort, but I really do feel sorry for everyone that has experienced really bad pain. I know from experience that there’s pretty much nothing worse than a toothache.

  48. 49. E | January 8th, 2008 at 3:55 pm

I am on day three of the 7 day Crest White Strips, I am so glad to see I am not the only one with this pain!!! I have had lot of dental work done in my life (braces, retainers… etc.) and I have never felt this kind of pain, is it normal to feel your friggen heart throbbing through your teeth?!?!!! I have even tried some tylenol 3’s I had left over from my wisdom teeth… this is ridiculous!! The even crazier thing is I can’t believe the unbelievable difference in my teeth, the color change is so dramatic, like night and day, thay are going to be so white, that is if I am not suicidal by the end of the week!!! haha! I trying to tell my self this is worth it, but this is crazy!! I am taking everyone’s advice and buying the sensodine, I hope it works!!

  49. 50. Justin | January 13th, 2008 at 11:28 am

OMG you guys are a bunch of sissys it dosent even hurt, what a bunch of little babys you have got to be kidding me right now. One person said it felt like a root canal and they had to go get pain relief, HAHA you dont know what real pain is. I got some renewals and they are working good so far. No pain no gain. SUCK IT UP!

  50. 51. cat | January 15th, 2008 at 8:20 pm

I just tried them a few days ago and I guess I’m a sissy because the pain is excruciating. I would rather put my head in a vice… Seriously, I had to stop using them because of the pain and nothing really helps relieve my agony.
“No pain-no gain” my a#s. If you have sensitive teeth that are also yellow you might be better off pulling them out of your jaw with a rusty pair of pliars, whitening them with the strips, and them placing them back in your jaw with a hammer. It might be less painful than using the strips while your teeth are still in your head.
My husband on the other hand is on day 4 and has very minimal pain so results vary I guess. Good Luck if you try them.

  51. 52. Tass | January 24th, 2008 at 6:54 am

Good! I’m not the only one feeling this pain. I’m using the Crest Premium strips, and I’ve gone down to once per day because of the pain. My gums were swollen, and I had almost stopped eating because it hurt so much. Simply breathing was agonizing because of the air cooling my teeth.

Now I use the strips before bed, and the pain finally fades by about lunchtime the next day (which is better then it being 24/7 like it was when I used two a day). But I’ve always had a problem with sensitivity, especially in one tooth where I have a chip that comes close to the inner nerves.

But even using the strips once a day, I’m still seeing the results everyday! My biggest concern was that there was something really wrong if I was the only one. But seeing that many people seem to get this pain, I shall continue to use these strips at my reduced pace!

Good luck to everyone else using these! and honestly if it gets really painful, I recommend trying it this way. You still get the results, but with a little less pain, and a little more time.

Here’s to whiter teeth for us all! ^_^

  52. 53. Bethany | January 31st, 2008 at 8:03 pm

    To Justin:

No, these people are not a bunch of sissies, people have a wide range of tooth sensitivity and just because you don’t have any doesn’t mean people are making it sound worse than it is. Trust me, it’s real. I’ve only used them twice so far and the second time I had one tooth that very quickly flared up and was throbbing & aching so bad I was like, in a panic to move the strip off of it. So I know what it’s like to not feel the pain, and to feel it. I can imagine if I was stuck with the pain I had in that one tooth, all night, in every tooth, I wouldn’t be able to sleep either.

You’re just lucky enough to not have that problem, not “tougher”

Does anyone else get pain in just one tooth?

Kinda makes me wonder if I have something wrong with that one.

  53. 54. Denee | February 4th, 2008 at 12:12 pm

Im on day 3 and I have noticed some discomfort in my teeth. More to the tips, but not too painful. I asked a woman today about it and she said that she used them and her teeth hurt, so she drank half and half to coat them. Which sounds gross, but its worth a shot.

  54. 55. Kristine | February 6th, 2008 at 9:14 am

I used the Crest Whitestrips Premium Plus last year and had very little pain..I used them once yesterday and now today after using my second dose of the day I can’t think i can’t talk i can’t even breath through my nose with out feeling horrible unbelievable pain. I don’t know that i will ever use them again..the box may rot in the cabinet haha. Advil does not help either!! I am going to the store first thing in the morning to get me some sensidone! Soo glad I saw others of you have this pain..I was worried

  55. 56. Ameli | March 4th, 2008 at 5:31 am

the crest whitestrips are definately worth it. i’m on my 3rd day now, and i seriously can already see a major change in the color of my teeth. I have a little gum sensitivy and tooth sensitivity, but it hasn’t been too bad. Like many other here have said, PAIN is BEAUTY. it really isn’t that bad. i will take a little pain if it means i am going to have a beautiful white smile.

  56. 57. chloe | March 7th, 2008 at 6:27 am

I guess no one read the package or instructions, because if they did they’d know not to sleep with them on, and they probably wouldn’t experiencing this “excruciating pain” that is keeping them up and not letting them sleep before their finals.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS: 30 MINUTES. NOT OVERNIGHT. If you didn’t read the instructions, I wouldn’t be complaining about how horrible this product is.

  57. 58. rana | April 8th, 2008 at 2:18 am

the best 30 $ i have ever spent!
i am a smoker and i drink way 2 much coffee! but it is my 3rd day 2day and i already see amazing results!
plus all my teeth are equally white; before my first 4 teeth were brighter then the rest..
they do however make ur teeth abit sensitive… but its a small price 2 pay once a year

  58. 59. Marta | April 24th, 2008 at 3:46 pm

I’m on day 3of my crest white strips, and my teeth are so freakin’ sensitive right now. They hurt so much. I’m glad I’m not the only one though. I’m thinking about spacing it out to just once a day if this kind of pain keeps up. I can’t fall asleep for anything! Given my teeth are getting whiter, but does it have to hurt so damn bad!?
They should put that yer teeth may hurt after so many days of using it on the box!!

  59. 60. ange | May 29th, 2008 at 4:27 am

LOL …. obviously YOU cant read…. no one is using them overnight …. where the heck did you read that???

Anyway…. I’ve used my first one this evening and i had brief PPPAAIIIN in one tooth which stopped but then more pain in a different tooth at which time i was at about 18 mins into it and had to take it off. BUT i was like wow i can see a difference already

  60. 61. Fancy_Girl | June 9th, 2008 at 2:04 pm

please can anyone tell me where can i find it in Dubai? and in Riyadh?
PLEASE i need it so URGUNT..

    Thanks =)

  61. 62. Laura | June 10th, 2008 at 7:55 am

WOW this one tooth is throbbing it feels like someone is trying to pull it out..but my teeth are so white!

  62. 63. Peter | June 19th, 2008 at 12:46 pm

Ok, I had no idea that there were different strengths of Whitestrips when I started using them 4 days ago. My teeth don’t hurt and aren’t sensitive at all (guess I’m lucky), but my gums burn like crazy when I have the strips on. I checked it out, and I actually have a couple tiny holes in my gums where the hydrogen peroxide ate away at them! I checked the box, and I have the Supreme version, which is their strongest one! They don’t even list it on their regular website because it’s only available through dentists (got it from my dentist friend). My gums only hurt with the strips on and they seem to heal quickly, but damn it hurts like hell the first 10 minutes. But WOW, my teeth are already a lot whiter after only 4 days. Mind you, this box has a 21-day supply (twice a day).

Moral of the story: check the type of Whitestrips you’re using and DON’T use Supreme unless you know you can handle it.

  63. 64. Alex | June 21st, 2008 at 12:06 am

I just started using them today and my teeth don’t hurt at all
which is a good thing! but I was just wondering is it ok to brush your teeth right after you use them?

  64. 65. Shane | June 21st, 2008 at 12:13 pm

Yep, sure is zing-a-riffic. Day one, four hours in and wham. Can’t drink cold water. I think I’ll be using the Sensodyne for a few weeks before I try this again :)

  65. 66. Rebecca | July 2nd, 2008 at 12:51 pm

Well, luckily I have them in and I have 6 more minutes and no pain.
It’s my first one though, so I hope I don’t experience any pain later on !
I got the White Strips Supreme, which is the strongest one and can only get from dentists but they’re amazing results on other people [my cousins] just caught my eye and I HAD to try !

20 more days to go ! hahah

Good Luck to everyone ! We will soon have white teeeethh !! [:

Oh, & I’ve been using Sensodyne for about 2 years now, so maaaaybe that is helping, who knows ?

  66. 67. Claire | July 3rd, 2008 at 12:33 am

Just got Premium Plus today and used them this morning and tonight, I had pain in one of my bottom teeth that felt like an electric shock but have noticed I have a small cavity in it which is probably why most people are feeling pain. I am in Liverpool, UK and we cannot get them here so I had to get them on ebay. They are not considered safe in UK which is why we do not sell them here. I hope I can bare the pain so I can have nice pearly white choppers. I just hope it doesn’t get any worse.

Fancy_Girl, they probably don’t have them in Dubai if you have looked and can’t find them, try ebay there are plenty listed.

  67. 68. LAURA | July 14th, 2008 at 8:03 pm

longtime smoker and coffee drinker, been using the premium for 7 days now, 3 to go. Some slight tooth discomfort, but teeth are indeed whiter (not perfect white, but better than they were, which was quite discolored).
    Glad I bought them

  68. 69. MaryB | July 17th, 2008 at 2:20 am

This is so weird. I used these “crest premium strips” 2 years ago about 2 months before my wedding, and I remember slight sensitivity, but nothing terrible. So i bought them again, and used 1 this morning at 8am. It’s now 4:17 pm and I wish I were dead. I can’t breath in or out, can’t bite down, and have tears in my eyes. WHAT THE HELL MAN!?

Thank God some of you guys have this pain too. And for those of you who are lucky enough to not have sensitive teeth, you should be on your knees thanking GOD right now! I’d rather pull my bottom lip over the top of my skull than ever use these things again.

    Hi
I bought this crest premium strip 10 day thing … supposed to were it 2 times a day in 10 days and then your teeth will be christal white…. i was able to use it for 4 days and it hurt LIKE HELL! like I was dippiing my teeth in ice cold water or something and they are so sensitive… so I stopped using them for a month and then thought I could try again las night and afterwards it hurt again like hell and I couldn’t think of anything else than my hurting teeth’s wasn’t able to sleep at all… and when I woke up thins morning and now they are still hurting me :/
I also thought that I was the only one experiencing this pain and thought there was something wrong but you know there is a reason your dentist doesn’t recomend those strips coz THEY DO ruin the protective layer (glaze) of your teeth’s, the one that make them shine and protects them from tooth sensitivity …
but then again, the results are amazing and I guess its worth it, coz they stay white for a loooooong time, but it hurts like shit and is VERY unpleasant !!!!

  73. 74. Maria | December 31st, 2008 at 1:12 am

I tried the strips once yesterday, And i will never again. I dremed about having a tooth ache all night long. And when i woke up i was in major pain. My front teeth are grinded down a bit so i think what haapened is that the strip goo got in contact with my nerves sending serious pain all the way down to my chin. So i think if your teeth are heathly you will have no problem. But if your teeth at in any sort of trouble it WILL HURT YOU.

  74. 75. Lissie | January 3rd, 2009 at 6:53 am

I got these for Christmas, they worked fine until now it is the second of july and I just finished using them and I feel pain every like three minutes this horrible sensation comes upon these two certain teeth and it hurts like crazy. These are probably cancer causing due to all the chemicals in your mouth…you probably end up swallowing some of the chemicals and if it does THAT to my teeth, I can’t imagine what it does to my body. OUCHHHHHHH.

  75. 76. Rachel | January 6th, 2009 at 1:55 am

I’ve used the Crest Whitestrips Premium once last year, and they worked so great I only needed to use half of the box! I normally have very sensitive teeth, but for some reason these didn’t hurt that bad at all. My gums were a little sore, but that went away in 10-15 minutes. I’d recomend these to anyone :D
I’m using them again, and it’s only my second day and my teeth already look so much better.

And to everyone who is having teeth sensitivity: try brushing your teeth with Sensodyne EVERY TIME you brush your teeth. I’ve heard about a million stories about how it gets rid of sensitivity really well [:

  76. 77. Hannah | January 11th, 2009 at 4:48 pm

I’m on day 4 of using the Pro effects, and I have just started experiencing pain. It’s not as extreme as some people describe it to be, it’s just like that feeling when you eat icecream and your teeth go ultra cold, well its like that exept it doesn’t go away. I personally don’t mind it, the only thing is when you experience that pain, I wouldn’t use them twice a day, just once. Unless you use one in the morning then at night, maybe the pain will go away inbetween.

  77. 78. danni | January 13th, 2009 at 6:57 am

I bought the strips and started using them today.

So far I haven’t notices any pain or discomfort (thank god!)

but after only one time of 30 minutes my teeth are noticably whiter. My mother saw me after using them and she noticed that they looked whiter, which makes me happy. I can’t wait to see what they look like at the end of the week!

  78. 79. Rebecca T | January 20th, 2009 at 8:22 pm

so i just bought this box of crest whitestrips and it says 5 minutes a day to a brighter smile…i think after reading everyone’s comments that im going to leave it on for 30 minutes…here’s a before picture of me.

  79. 80. Tiss | February 25th, 2009 at 2:16 am

I started using these a couple of days ago. I have noticed in the last few months that one of my front teeth is yellowing faster than the others. I have no caps or anything like that on my front teeth. My question is why is this one front tooth not whitening like the others? That was the reason I was doing this was to make them all whiten, even if a bit—it has worked on the other teeth but hardly at all with this 1 darn tooth. Any ideas why? Thanks Tiss

  80. 81. Chase | March 16th, 2009 at 6:43 am

iv been using them for like 3 days maybe 4 now and my teeth are much much whiter, 0 pain, maybe a little sore for like five mins but thats normal cuz i have a thing to move my teeth, id recomend them to anyone and my girlfreind uses them too same thing from her

  81. 82. renee | March 17th, 2009 at 11:11 pm

i bought my first pack 2 years ago right after i quit smoking my teeth were terrible even though i had good oral hygene after my first box i couldnt believe how white my teeth were and i had little to no pain. i just bought a new box and i was having quite a bit of sensitivity so i bought sensodyne tooth paste in refresh flavor (tastes awful but it works) now i have no pain and my teeth are getting even whiter i would strongly recoment this product and if you are having the paid brush with a toothpaste that’s main purpose is sensitivity until you are done the strips, then you can go back on whatever is most important to you in a toothpaste!!!

  82. 83. Yelena | March 26th, 2009 at 3:03 pm

I am on my third day and my teeth are aching. The results are obviously awesome but I guess the pain is different for everyone. Some might not feel it and some may. All I know is that the first time I put them on, I left them overnight which I prbably shouldnt have. Does anyone know whats going to happen? lol second time I did it during the day and felt some pain, and now today I left them overnight again and woke up at 6 not because I wanted to or had to, but because I couldnt sleep anymore because of this pain.
My bottom jaw is killing me. It feels as if someone chipped all of my teeth and my nerves are now exposed to ice. I guess its my fault though.

  83. 84. Naadaa | April 1st, 2009 at 6:07 pm

My teeth hurt like hell, seriously. For the last 4 hours. If this doesn’t stop in a couple of hours I will never put them on again. It hurts so damn bad I think I’m going to knock myself out.

  84. 85. PAIN | April 8th, 2009 at 2:39 pm

today is my first day with Crest and I’m in a terrible pain!!!My teeth hurt ,I can’t eat…I really want it to work so I guess I will try again tonight but if the fuckin’ pain still kills me i’ll throw them away….life sucks

  85. 86. Sam | April 10th, 2009 at 8:17 am

I have been wondering why my teeth have been hurting ALL DAY. At times it’s just mild pain, but other times it is HORRIBLE! I’m hoping this pain goes away by tomorrow. I did leave them on WAY too long last night, on accident… I think it will be worth it, and I’m going to go put the strips on right after I submit this! HAHA, it’s crazy, the things we do!
    Goodluck everyone! :D

  86. 87. Jessica | April 19th, 2009 at 2:28 am

got a sample pack with NO instructions so I assumed I could wear them all night.Pain Pain Pain Pain :(((( Woke up at 4:00am with my teeth throbbing, its now 530 in the evening and it wont go away.

  87. 88. Shay | April 20th, 2009 at 5:21 am

Im on my second day of Whitening with Premiums, and Ive used Sensodyne 3 times a day, Its helps SO much. My first day I was in pain, but I have no pain at all today. So you should definitely use the toothpaste the whole time you use the strips!

  88. 89. David C | June 11th, 2009 at 9:20 pm

I used the premium whitestrips last year without any problem beside some mild sensitivity that did not bother me at all. Now this year I bought another box and within 5 minutes of wearing the first set of strips, I experienced this EXCRUCIATING NERVE PAIN that came on out of NOWHERE! It was seriously one of the WORST pains I’ve ever felt in my life, and that is by no way an exaggeration! I immediately ripped off the strips and now I’m petrified to try them again. Like the pain was so bad, I felt sick to my stomach from it!

Anyone know what that could’ve been?!?!!? =(

  89. 90. colleen griffin | June 30th, 2009 at 8:40 pm

I was on my third day yesterday and fell asleep with them on. Now they’re sensitive..not overly painful but I didn’t feel a thing the first two days. Should I be worried? Not sure if I need to see a dentist. I figured I’d start using sensodyne and see if that helps. Any ideas? Anyone else do this?

  90. 91. Nidhi | September 2nd, 2009 at 1:42 am

i have just used the them. and OMG it makes ur teeth so sensitive. DO NOT USE IT IF UR TEETH ARE SENSITIVE……. they hurt sooooo baaaadddddddddddddddd……………. it feels like my teeth are about to fall out. they work ok though, but too much pain.. i would never use it again…

  91. 92. Raquel | September 9th, 2009 at 2:55 am

The reason some of your teeth’s are hurting by the 2nd or 3rd day is because your teeth are sensitive. You shouldn’t use any type of whitening treatment with sensitive teeth. It’s my 4th day and I’ve had huge results. My teeth don’t ache either. Your also not supposed to brush your teeth after using them. You brush off some of the Enamel on your teeth which cause your teeth to become sensitive. It’s a great product overall! Just make sure you don’t have sensitive teeth or it will hurt you.

  92. 93. Jay | October 3rd, 2009 at 5:23 pm

Okay so last night i fell asleep with them on and had no problem in the morning. They were still on and they made my teeth actually whiter than the 30 mintues. I am very happy with these,no pain no game.

  93. 94. Jhon | October 12th, 2009 at 4:20 pm

I’ve tryed white strips before, but this time when I tryed them – Holy shit do my teeth hurt. I did have them in from about a little before 2:30 A.M – 4:30, until I though to my self “damn, is this suppose to hurt this bad” I had to get up because I felt it so much and then I discared the strips. Also, before I put them in i brushed my teeth.

Now, I do realize that your not suppose to sleep with them , but I had these on for quite a while before and in all my times useing strips or whiteing products, I never experienced pain. I took 1 and a half vicidon from 4:30 – 7:00 and still hurts very bad, it is now 9:00 A.M and still hurts pretty bad. I must say that this pain hurt WAY more then when I got ALL 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled at the same time, I know you are only suppose to use them for about 30 min, but this never happened before. They should have a warning on the box and more information, I mean saying it should not make your teeth sensitive if you use “as directed” is NOT enough.

I looked on there site and it really says nothing about use of over 30 min, There should be a warning on the box just as there is warnings of overdoseage on asprin bottles. This pain sucks, it feels kinda like theres cavities on the front of my teeth and something like caramal is constantly getting in them, or as if some one is pokeing at them with a dentist intrustment. This is not very fun at all – I will say my teeth are whiter now, but I don’t think the pain will go away until about 1:00 P.M.

Don’t ever wear these for more then 30 min, if you start to feel ANY pain at all, rip these bad boys off.

  94. 95. LL | October 28th, 2009 at 2:05 am

Okay, so a friend of mine recommended them to me. I bought the premium package last night from Publix, and put it on this morning right before going to class. The pain started off with a little sensitivity. Its now 7pm, and I feel like I’m about to pass out….literally. I’ve had work done on my teeth many times, and I’ve never, EVER had this much pain. Its jst ridiculous. Completely NOT worth it. I came online trying to find some type of a cure or relief, but instead found a whole bunch of people complaining about the same thing. I’m glad I’m not the only one.

  95. 96. Jon | October 29th, 2009 at 9:17 am

NOOOO!!!!!!! I bought these today and used them for a half hour and then waited like two hours and used it again like it said for another half hour. this was around 6pm. my teeth looked a bit whiter immediately and all was good. Now here i am at 2:00 am and I WANT TO RIP MY TEETH OUT!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! i can’t sleep. all i can think about is how it feels like someone is taking a metal file to my teeth non stop! I kept thinkin that i was gonna wake up and all the nerves in my teeth would be dead and that they’d fall out. (which i hope they don’t what a scary thought) OMG THEY HURT! WOW! I’ve seriously never felt a pain like this! and it doesn’t stop!!! it just keeps hurting! I’m thinkin about goin to the hospital cuz i seriously don’t think it’s supposed to hurt this bad.

  96. 97. Jon | October 29th, 2009 at 9:18 am

p.s. I don’t know why it says 9:17 am on my post cuz it’s def 2:17 right now. AND I STILL WANT TO RIP MY TEETH OUT!!!

  97. 98. Ashley | October 29th, 2009 at 7:33 pm

If your teeth hurt it’s because you’re using them too often or for too long (even if you’re doing what the box says).

I have sensitive teeth and I have to use them ONCE a day and only every other day or I’ll be unable to eat/drink/breathe without horrible pain for two days. You need to figure out what works for you, but by no means should you keep using them according to the directions on the box if you’re in pain. The reason advil won’t work is because advil doesn’t rebuild the enamel that the whitestrips stripped off!

Try using them once a day, and if that still hurts, reduce it to once every other day until you feel no pain. By the way: if you’re already in pain, STOP using them until 1 day after the pain goes away.

You may need ot take 28 days instead of the 14 promised on the box (I do), but trust me, your teeth will thank you!
