Don’t talk and drive radio commercial

Can someone PLEASE email me a copy of the really funny/lame radio commercial for anti talking on the phone while driving, the one with the screeching sound of a car braking and the daughter screaming. If you can get it or record it for me send it to twofoureightam@gmail.com

I hope you get this one Mark. When my wife heard it for the first time, she pulled her car over from shock :) It’s an awful commercial…. the main line “dad, dad…” has become a private joke at our household and we use it for everything.

The classic ending of screeching sounds followed by the message: “with the compliments of ….. ” leaves me in hysterics.

Yeah we need a copy of these for scientific purposes. To analyse how the mind of a primitive sand creature works.

Driving in traffic , around me faces are frowning from the heat. Suddenly people look to the car next to them with the lunatic inside, red laughing face and tears running down his cheeks :)

That Bloody promo’s funny as HELL!!

    This ad is really stupid
I always hear it on 99.7 FM. Every time I heard this Ad I feel like I want to hit some one with my car to prove they are wrong

I always try to look at things positively and never be a pessimist! I say that the whole campaign was deliberately done to sound awful and have accents that sound like chalk being pressed so hard against a board for a reason. It has been hugely successful in terms of reaching people and making people talk about it. At least thats what I think(although don’t think they have the brains to actually do it on purpose).

heheh…this ad reflects what the cheapskates at the ministry pay to make a commericial. they couldn’t hire some professional and so they hire some idiot who doesn’t speak three words of english to make it. one wonders where the $20 billion surplus of cash from oil sales goes nowadays?

Jeez, I feel like an idiot using my Grandma’s radio/recorder and waiting for that promo to pop up LOL

Seriously anyone use those anymore? I haven’t had one since I was like 12. To be fair that was 6 years ago :)

  23. 23. Desert Girl | June 10th, 2008 at 11:00 am

It is hysterical. It sounds like both dad and daughter have been doing too many drugs. The last thing they should worry about is talking on the phone. Lay off the dope!

  24. 24. Mandy | June 10th, 2008 at 2:14 pm

its in no way hysterical or funny….i hate it!…..its frustrating to hear it being played over and over again…i cant stand the gal and the man;s voice, the english and the accent…its one of the worst advertisement ever..mark am glad u brought it up..with every1 going out of kuwait to study and come come back with major accents….cant believe thats the best they could do?!?!
