Slip Stream I used to think the same way, as you mature in life so does your reflection time and so does your taste. Harley might be a loan mower, but its one heck of a classy chromed loan mower, that true rider can customise to their taste. So if you wanna ride for the sake of racing stick to rice burners, if you wanna enjoy the freedom of cruising while beeing able to pick flowers get a Harley.

Harleys and chrome go together like lawnmowers and WD40.
But thats what a harley is, a lawnmower on wheels!
No such thing as an upgrade on a harley, its more like a make-over...a Swan Make-over....

Marzouq,
I do not think the two reds are different.Probably just the reflection due to the space in between & the parking angle of each bike

[...] I wanted to ride to break-in the bike completely that friday morning, but I think I was being overly ambitious since I didn’t realize I had so much work and I would get so tired. I met up with Mark to go for a little ride around the gulf road and it was going to be a nice day as long as we are moving. I have to say that Mark’s bike sounds pretty damn good, my bike has a deep V-Twin rumble to it, but I keep hear Mark’s bike as well. Overall I think his bike is looking pretty good, and thats the best thing about customizing. Odometer at Start of Day: 350 KMs [...]

Personally speaking unless it's a Harley i don't like the bike parts showing .. i prefer Marzouq's bike to Mark's .... it has a more chique and sportish look to it

What Hellraiser said is true, the point is to enjoy the bike anyway the rider sees fit.

Sport riders in the US put chrome and make their bikes heavier while in Europe they use Carbon Fiber and lighten them, its only a matter of taste and what they want out of the bike.

Its all about the "tasteful" ugrades and the right performance upgrades.

Correction we do upgrade the engines my Fatboy had 110 HP with 115 FT Pound of torque, as for the weight some of us do work on downgrades. The main thing is to ride have fun irrespective of your bike orientation. Ex Duke 851 Owner.
