Both flights between Abu Dhabi and Doha, and then Doha and Vienna were single aisle Airbus planes with virtually no leg-room and no entertainment on demand. They spend so much money on advertising on television that many people fall for the hype and truly believe it is a 5-star airline. It certainly is efficient and provides decent enough value for money, but it could do with more leg room in Economy class! It's a great city. Qatar Airport, in general, is also very nice clean and modern. Certainly better than our decrepit Airport in Kuwait. The First and Business lounges in Qatar are also superb. As the airport is still very new, the main issue is getting to the planes, which like you said are a long way away from the terminal. Qatar Airways first and business is excellent.
