@ Dhari

Try disk repair for the bin.
As for the pixel, try massaging the area - it sometimes works - or running a program that turns it on and off rapidly. If that doesn't work, you'll have to live with it - Apple won't exchange for 1 pixel unless you are incredibly lucky.

I've got my new macbook for about a week now. Love it ...
2 issues:
- Can't empty the trash (it makes that emptying sound after I ask it to empty the trash, but nothing happens)
- A dead pixel - a blue dot appears on the screen. not really noticable, but bothers me
Any suggestions? (got my laptop from apple.com)

@orgthingy

Why have a Windows partition? To play games, run Windows only applications. You know - the very obvious reasons.

kwt23:

Try Azureus or Vuze (they are the same). Most torrent programs require that you achieve certain upload to download ratio to get higher speeds. Furthermore, check your torrent program setting and make sure they are correct. This is the first time I've heard about such thing as Macs have problems with torrent download speeds.
