I told the employee at Paris train station that I want first class tickets and private cabin since it was only me and my wife and we will need to sleep. He said cabins are available in the second leg of the trip when we change trains at Spain. When we got their it turned out that the cabins were like military barracks with 4 other people in a 8 ft by 8 ft cabin!! WTF!! I ran to the reservation counter and asked what available! guess what! those were not first class cabins and I had to pay more, which I did not mind as long as I don't sit for one minute in the shared ones! I live in Paris, and god it really is difficult to do simple things like use the internet for a split second! Everything is "c'est pas possible!" here's a tip for the next time you come to Paris. Ignore French people. They're clueless people, they have NO idea what they're talking about. Trust me, most of those people behind desks are pretty useless.
