Why would you throw a fortune over a personal trainer?

if you want general health and exercise and to lose weight… Wii Fit is the answer! Try wii fit + and Jullian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum workouts and the results are AMAZING! i lost weight minhom! better than any gym i have been to in Q8 o at the comfort of my own home, my own time, my own shower!

but if you are looking body building and defined abs and stuff… it won’t help of course…

Fatburger post and then personal fitness instructor classified? I cannot digest this…Guilt trip? =)

  3. Mark says:

I don’t want to lose weight, I am like perfect weight for my height. I just want to improve my cardio and get a bit ripped.

  4. Akbar says:

    Three ways to get ripped:

    Get a loan from NBK
    Hire a personal trainer
    Buy digital electronics in Kuwait

Mark wants to sculpture his 8th pack, the perfectionist he is, he is not happy with his 6packs…

    Mark,

You dont need a personal trainer and throw your money away.. just eat clean food and betwen 6~7 meals a day and do some weight lifting, cardio and aerobics and you will see the difference in 1 month .. but the most important part is the FOOD .. it is actually 70~80% about the food .. if your too lazy to think then try checking this program ” P90X ”
it will teach you everything you need trust me and withing 3 months ur gunna see results .. if you dont believe go to youtube and write P90X results .. and see ppl results within 3 months

    Goodluck !

A personal trainer is a good idea as it helps you to keep motivated and also stick to a schedule. Hope you find someone good.

  11. Nand says:

Personal trainer …… which of the three genders would you prefer???

  12. Mark says:

Like Cajie said, I’m looking for someone to motivate me and help me stick to a schedule.

  13. Kuwait says:

    Can she be female? ;)

  14. Jan says:

One more benefit of a personal trainer – especially when you are lifting weights – is to act as a spotter.
Let’s assume that the maximum you can bench press is 10 reps of 150 pounds. If you are alone, you will be scared to go for 10 reps and will stop somewhere at 5 or 6. But with a spotter nearby, you will be willing to exercise your muscles to the max – and that’s where most of the benefits of weight lifting lie.

  18. HeartBeat says:

How much you are willing to pay ?

  21. BH says:

    what holla said.

  22. no smokin says:

    gyms is the answer ;p

  23. Suleiman says:

Smart training with kettlebells, will improve many areas of health. Strength, endurance, flexibility and posture to name a few.

    Think cardio with weights.

I have just moved to Kuwait and have trained people to use them in the past.

  24. anon says:

Is is ok, if your personal trainer weighs 300 Pounds with 45 inch waist line & eats 6 – 7 heavy meals a day, and doesn’t exercise himself? However, your results are guaranteed.

    Good luck mate. :)

  25. bin 36 36 says:

    He Suleiman
I want to join you ..but How ?
I am so interested about the kettlebells and crossfit things
So how can I connect with you ?

  26. Sherif says:

    Hey Mark,

Buy TRX from amazon or the official website. U will get DVDs along with them and they are better than any personal trainer.

  27. bin 36 36 says:

Sherif i have TRX and it’s so great

  28. Akbar says:

    Muscle confusion???

Sounds dreadfully confusing. Last thing I want to do is confuse my muscles. The moment I stop exercising, due to an injury, sprain or maybe a busy schedule, my muscle will royally own me and because I confused them, they will build up fat faster than a hamster running in a wheel…

Mark be careful in whatever you do mate. Chose the safest and most trusted way of getting yourself ripped otherwise the results may look pleasing and macho. in the short term but in the long term when you turn 50 or so, you should not regret it. I hope you are not going the protein way and become a walking carton like those cheesy short and wide guys walking up and down Avenues that look more like those protein jars than anything else…248amPUMPED UP!

  29. no smokin says:

loool Akbar but i think these kinda ppl look really cool not like as you said

  30. Cyc says:

it doesnt have to be muscle confusion .. i dont do muscle confusing and got pretty amazin results for 3 months! its all about food lol

dude eating 6~7 meals wont gain u weight if the propotions are right .. ive been on diet since sept/21 and usually eat around 6 meals ( GOOD CLEAN MEALS ) i was 79.5KG 14.4% fat perc and after three months ( 3weeks ago ) at 72KG 9% fat perc.. its really more of a new lifestyle than just dieting and workingout

  31. G.K. says:

if u know where the sahara resort is , go there they have all sorts of personal trainers.
    good luck !

  32. [...] Two days back I posted about how I was looking for a personal fitness trainer to come over to my place and give me a work out in my home gym. Surprisingly only two people emailed me recommending me a trainer, the rest of the emails were gym owners asking me to try out their gym. I don’t have time for a gym, I work till 7 and once I get home I start working on posts for my blog. I have two full time jobs basically with no time to waste at a gym. That’s why I declined all the offers.. except for one. The owner of Core Fitness emailed me. It turns out we had met via a friend last year when we went offroading and he promised to transform me from top to bottom for free if in return I reviewed his gym. As I was typing my thanks but I have to decline your offer email I decided to check out his website. There wasn’t anything there except for the logo and the line “Only 20 minutes Twice a week”.
