So I bought a "crystal clear case" from a company called Summit Image. Guess what? The act of sliding the ipod into the hard plastic case caused multiple, deep scratches. I took it out and put it back in maybe three times before I realized that I wasn't imaging it - the fucking case designed to "protect" my ipod was scratching the shit out of it. Fuck. When i got my ipod. Theverry fist day. I took it out of the bok and i dropd it. Then my brother acsidentaly stepd on it. Then i pik it up and wipe the fut print. It had scraches all over it. But i was still happy. I when to my room and ut it on the dock to up load the songs. My briliant of a bro, Again , disided to move some stuf. He hits the Desk and out the second storry windo when the new ipod ( preveusly dropd and stepd on ) out the window. I wach it fall in slow motion, to the gravel drive way. I ran to go for it just to see my dad drive in... It hur realy bad, I saw him ran over the dam iPod on the gravel drinve way... GRAVEL!!!!!! I pick it up and started to laf.It wasall broken. The white and Metalick parts were bent and broken. The screen was ok (i culdent belive)so i got what was left of it (batery, screen, hard drive) and started to buld an ipod of my own... Mand what a day for a new iPod Photo. I remember now and i lafe my ass off. So right know im working on puting what was left of the iPod (with i puloded the songs... I culdent belive it) and put it in a digital camera. It tuck me 1 year and sacrifisd my music instruments for it. I sold everythig Exept my Guitar and Bass. Well lets see how it gos. You can take the scaches of the iPod with Brasso My friend did it and it looks beter. He yousd a coto ball and Brasso. They will never go away. Even your fingers scratch the ipod. Even air scratches the ipod. Even running water on the screen scratches the ipod. Even nothing scratches the ipod. Even when the case is on with the screen protector, the rubbing of the case onto the ipod will scratch it. The best thing to do is just sell your scratched up ipod, buy a new one, leave the plastic on it, and put it in a case with the screen protector. It will still get scratches, but not as many.
