Holy crap Mark! You haven’t seen “Trading Places” or “Grease”??!!!!

Dr. Strangelove is brilliant. Rain Man is overblown. Spartacus is a good old fashioned Hollywood epic.

Haven’t seen Paths of Glory, but since it’s a Kubrick film it will at least be interesting.

If you want really good old B&W classics, try these:

- The Apartment
- Sweet Smell of Success (crying out for a remake!!!)
- From Here to Eternity
- Double Indemnity

Spartacus is a classic. That said, I’m not going to say we don’t have any modern-day classics. ‘There Will Be Blood’ was probably one of the best movies I’ve seen in a long, long time. And if you haven’t seen it yet (and very few haven’t) ‘The Big Lebowski’ (not TOO new, but new enough) is probably one of the greatest movies ever made.

So true about movies nowadays! They make these huge commercials and make really good trailers and it turns out those are the only good parts in the movie. I�m always disappointed in the end!

We all share one thing that sometime we need some free time to spend it alone or with the people who we love.

So we need sometime to watch one of our favorite movies, read a book, or even listen to some relaxing music.

‘Grease’ is one of the all time best movies of the past 30 years. So naff it’s cool. We all wanted to be Rizzo or Kennicki and queued for hours at cinemas only to be turned away because it was ”full” again. I queued in the snow for three hours to see it.
Grease 2 was a let down but isn’t that often the case with sequels?
What about ‘Jaws’ tho’ surely it should be up there with them as a classic to watch- especially now it’s summer swimming time ?!
I had a history teacher who looked like Dr Strangelove…..Eddie his name was.
