There is no Irish embassy in Kuwait and you have to send your passport to Saudi. And from what I understand (unless things have changed in recent years) they are usually more willing to give a visa to someone who already has a valid Schengen or UK visa in their passport. If you've never been to the UK or any Schengen country, it is extremely difficult. Hope it works out! Good luck getting a visa (not in the case of a Canadian passport, but a Lebanese passport).
