That 20kwd roughly equates to round 40 to 45 pounds (depending on the exchange rate). Few factors why accomodation is expensive in United Kingdom, first, it’s England, within Europe and the currency is pounds (of course KWD is stronger).

Paddington, it’s central London, tourist and business area. A 40pounds room is still okay considering the location and accessability. You’ll get a bit cheaper accomodation if you stay ‘outside’ central London but you need to have a transport otherwise you’ll waste time in travelling unless you have a chauffeur or you know your way in and out. A regular bed and breakfast in a countryside cost 20 pounds. Anybody tried the scenic spots within Engla nd? Most of the visitors just visit central London … there are more in countryside depending in your interest.

My business is private car hire,i chauffeur clients from executives attending a meeting to families on holidays. I welcome enquiries re: tours and holidays in England or how to save money during your holiday here.

Accomodation, transportation and communication (telephone) are truly a bit expensive in UK, one of the reason is the overhead cost of the people in the business (licensing, insurance for the benefit of the clients etc)

Stayed for 5 days, no restaurant but they have a vending machine in the lobby and there are a ton of restaurants and fast food joints all around the hotel.

I read it all, and saw that you gave 4 out of 5 stars to the hotel, may i know how long you stayed there? is there any resturant with in hotel? dont mind but, such a small room, i mean if you are staying most of yur time out then its fine, but staying in that small room for hours !!??
business stay is best, coz you dont stay at hotel, only come there to sleep.

Your room actually had a window? Now that’s luxury for ya!
BTW, Mark, do they have interconnecting rooms? At those prices, I wouldn’t mind taking 3 connecting rooms and taking out 2 of the beds.
