Seventeen Inch
I have had a 17inch Powerbook with me now for a couple of days and I have to say I really hate it. I hate it so much that I am sitting here typing this post on an old clamshell ibook. I tried using the Powerbook but its just too huge and uncomfortable to use while lying down on the couch. I really tried to like it but I wasn’t able to and I kept falling back on my clamshell for my browsing. Too bad, I really liked the high resolution screen.

its actual a lot lighter then my clamshell ibook, atleast half the weight i think.

Well, for some reason i feel that silver mac laptops suck! I own an white ibook G4 and im really happy with it.

i love white ibooks, i had one before it died. now i am waiting for the redesigned ones if they ever come out so i can get one.

I feel the 17 incher should just be on a desk. I have worked with some, much better for editing than the 12 inch one i have. But you cant beat the portability of the 12 inch powerbook. I have traveled around with it, and it has held up pretty well.

I love the MacBook Pro its just so sad that no 12inch model out yet :/ 15inch to me is a bit too much :/ The whole goal for a laptop is high mobility right? :r

I like mine its a 14.1 inch pc laptop. I lug it around pretty much everywhere!

Mark, I guess since they will be bringing in the Macbook (iBook) as a 13.3 inch model that they will kill off the 12inch Powerbook and introduce a 13.3 inch MacBook Pro. Which is fine by me, but let it arrive hehe :P I want one of those new machines :r

13inch is just a rumor. i dont think a 13inch will get released unless a 10 or 11 inch model comes out because the 12inch is a big seller cuz of its small size, introducing a larger model wouldn’t be smart.
