It's an actual store on Melrose and it is AWESOME. We stumbled into by mistake and then realized that that's the store Turtle bribes people into getting in. They have sneakers selling for $4,000! But I agree with one of the posts up there, there is no market for such a huge variety, people still don't accept that they have to pay a lot of 'sneakers'. Shame... One main issue is that the brands do not distribute the limited and rare collections/packs outside of the Tier 1 stores, such as Foot Patrol, Ryouki and Main Source in UK, DQM, Supreme, Union and HUF in the US, Neighbourhood in Japan, etc. There is a tier system that exists in all markets, and the bigger retailers, such as Foot Locker, do not get access to these styles. I understand that this is being addressed in Foot Locker with the "Energy Door" ranges - these are strictly limited to 1008 units worldwide, with top stores receiving 24 units only. These are wild colours, different styles, etc that you cannot get anywhere else. Kuwait has been selected as an Energy Door, so from December onwards, there will be Puma's (such as the Yo MTV Raps suedes, some Nike Stabs, Reebok ERS, etc. coming to Kuwait that will be on a par with what is coming out of the key markets. Don't think it is not for the want of trying, it is a case of distribution as much as knowledge and desire. Get your broom handle out! A good discussion to be had. People here want safe, and looking at people's past comments on your awesome sneaker collection, that proves it.
