The Aviator Sideways

I watched The Aviator yesterday and Sideways. I was really disappointed with both the movies. Sideways was long and slow, I spent the last hour just forwarding through the movie. The Aviator was also long and slow and I nearly fell asleep watching it, Nataly fell asleep watching it. After watching the amazing movie Crash the other night I doubt I will be able to find another movie that will top it. I have 3 more movies to watch now, The Longest Yard, Eternal Sunshing of the Spotless Mind and Million Dollar Baby. Hope they turn out to be good.

    oh god leo defaggio.

when you said crash i thought you meant the pervy 96 cronenberg one: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115964/
however the one you listed sounds interesting enough.

I just saw eternal sunshine a few days ago and it’s fairly odd and cute but i can barely stand jim carey. It’s a nerdy emo girl’s chick flick.

i love the David Cronenberg movie Crash. Its one of my favorite movies ever. A classic. I actually dislike the name Crash for the new movie since it causes confusion with cronenbergs movie, i mean couldnt they fucking think of another name?!

Million Dollar is very slow but sure worth watchin. Swank is very selective in her mega roles and she gives a lot to make a good movie.

You have excellent taste, Mark…I watched “Crash” shortly after it came out in the US, and it was just mind-blowing. Definitely one of the best movies I’ve ever seen–hell, it almost made me CRY! That’s saying a lot.

“The Longest Yard”…I wanted to not like it–the dialogue, the acting is nothing spectacular–but I loved it! It’s soooo effing funny! Especially the prison cheerleaders hehe

    Enjoy!

heheh yeah mark, it confused me all right.
with the original crahs, i am not too sure about the crawling out of accidents and fucking part, but recreating famous crashes is a fetish i can definately appreciate :) that movie was awesome.

Woah.. I really liked Sideways. It’s sort of a calm, light, and funny movie.

I watched “Million Dollar Baby” this weekend too. I thought it was good. Not multiple-Oscar-winning material, but an overall well done movie.

I also watched ‘The Jacket’ and I liked the acting and the whole ‘time-travel’ concept (of course, once I started to sense the loopholes in the logic of the movie, I went into “Don’t think, just enjoy” mode and that made the movie really cool).
