The Saga Continues
My younger brother who is in Lebanon at the moment is going to be evacuated by the Canadian embassy in the next few days. According to him they will be evacuated by ship to Larnaca (Cyprus) and from there he will take a flight back to Kuwait. He is very excited about getting on the ship..

huh, while everyone is trying to get out… it seems i’m the only one whose trying to get in! At the moment I’m contacting red crescent to see if they’d take me with them. Though it seems I’ll need was6a. Plus they don’t seem to have the guts to get in Lebanon they just drop the supplies at the boarders and leave!

Yesterday on CNN, I saw one guy trying to get inside Lebanon. They were asking him why he wants to go back, and he was screaming “My family is in Lebanon, I am a lebanese - so If I should die, I should die in Lebanon”
I thought it was very courageous of him to go back to be with his family.

This whole thing is getting even more insane and Israel seems to just be bombing random places. Just read that Israel bombed Jbeil. What the hell is there to bomb there that could possibly be of any military importance?

they didnt bomb jbeil. they bombed 2 trucks that were thought to be carrying weapons on the jbeil high way.. the trucks were in motion

Ah. That’s a bit different. I guess this is an example of CNN’s balanced reporting. They’re still insane with everything they’ve, but man, the thought of them bombing the actual town of Jbeil is just mind boggling.

Actually they bombed two Kuwaiti red crescent trucks. what is really sad no one mentioned this on the news. Then mention the blown up trucks. but what about those inside them? I believe each truck had three red ccrescent ppl.

Curious about your brother. A Canadian citizen. Does he have a permanent residence in Canada, or does he have dual citizenship, living in Leb?
