hey mark,

i've noticed the annoying ringer volume change beep too. the way i found to get around this problem is this: in Settings > Ring Styles > ... Detail > instead of clicking on Ring Volume to change, just use your Right and Left keys to increase or decrease the volume. hope this helps.

cheers

I've had mine for about 2 weeks now. It's a great phone. I initially had some concerns about the battery life but it hasn't been a problem for me so far...
FYI - the software that came on my unlocked V3x did not thrill me...so, after a bit of research, I used my work PC (got a Powebook at home) to flash the phone. It worked great! Check here: http://www.motomodders.net or http://www.howardforums.com/

Mark, yeah it has it's own SE cable, but it charges the phone once you plug it in the PC

Hey Mark, congratulations on your new phone! I was wondering if you could post some pictures taken with it? I'd like to see the quality of its camera. Thanks.

the coolest thing about video calling is that you can show who you are calling something that is going on near you live instead of capturing it on video and sending it through MMS or something

I had to pay €12 for a plug in to use nokia 9300 with iSync, good thing you found it for free. I thought Apple covered all the newly released phones in it's latest isync update :/

Does the V3x has iTunes in it as in V3i ?
