I have been thinking alot about this since i too want a new notebook. Here is what u need to know: 1. HP: the best performance for the least money. The best deal u can get is from HP. Plus their artist edition is cool. 2. Sony SZ: the TZ is slow for me, but the SZ is really cool. Not ULTRAportable, and not slow. A really good compromise between the two. Downside: Pricy. 3.
