Where is my MacBook?
This is extremely frustrating. Orignally I was told by Amazon they would ship my MacBook on the 15th of June. I was then told my MacBook would instead ship earlier on the 9th of June and as compensation (don’t ask its amazon) they upgraded my shipping to next day. Now I am being told my MacBook is going to ship on June 20th and as compensation I was given a $30 gift voucher. Amazon is being very nice with me but fuck I want my MacBook!

Try to forget about it. There’s a lot of demand on them and Apple is probably having a hard time resupplying Amazon fast enough. There’s not much you can do but wait.

The bigger question is… Is Mac City getting it here? What’s their mark-up (i.e. rip-off)?

No Ruggz… my business in Bangkok is only importing and distributing whey protein for gym-goers, and other associated crap. And in Kuwait, I’m working on computerised maintenance for an oil company in Wafra. Not very connected I know, and nothing for sale in Kuwait - was just an offer in case I can get something there for someone. :) No markup!

hey tim under what brand name do you market whey protein in kuwait…?
13. tim | June 11th, 2006 at 6:46 am
I don’t market whey protein in Kuwait… I do computer stuff at an oil company.
In Thailand, I market products from http://www.naturesbesteurope.com and http://www.bodyripped.com.au (although the australian brand is re-designing their website right now). The best range I’ve seen in Kuwait is the EAS range in a new nutrition shop on the first floor of Souq Sharq.
