I definetly recommend the 360 (I have the 360 PS3 Wii and pretty much every other console ever made). The games are amazing plus no other console offers a better online gaming experience. Oh and Gears of war and Graw 2 are must haves plus halo 3 is comming out and that alone is worth getting the 360 for. So if u ever get the 360 and play online add my gamer tag (layan) and you see what its like to lose to a girl :P

The Wii is not for Otaku. I don’t even think you know what Otaku is. Its a derogatory term in Japan. Of course Westerners love to just use it and make it glorified, but its actually used as an insult in Japan.

I have a wii and I don’t watch anime. XD

Hi, i’m Wii, and i think you got it all wrong, every console has it’s own people, the Wii is for anime and japan fans, what we call Otaku, and the PS3 and Xbox360 are for the soccer and america fans, so instead of saying eww i hate the Wii it requires bla bla bla, you should say eww it’s not my type, and instead of saying eww i hate the Xbox yada yada ya, you should say eww it’s not my style. Don’t give me another try if you don’t like me, i’m just not your type, move along.

So far, Wii Sports and WarioWare (and maybe Tiger Woods) are the only games that require you to play off the couch. And I’m sorry to say this, but to consider the Wii as a disappointment because of this sole reason is a bit absurd. Wii is not perfect…I admit that, but it does have a great potential; I mean it turned into a pop-cultural phenomenon in a less than a month and the demand is still high.

Give it another try…

Plus most games coming out on the PS3 end up coming to the 360 with the exception of a few.

I really don’t know where you get the notion that its bland. How does Gears of War suck when its won countless and countless of awards not just for its graphics, but for its incredible gameplay? Its pretty much the next Halo, and actually, its much better in gameplay. In fact, let me go out on a limb here and say that the 360’s library is probably one of the best exclusive libraries i’ve ever seen since the SNES era. Microsoft is doing amazing in bagging all these intellectual properties.

I can say with all honesty Mark, get the 360. You won’t be disapointed, I know I’m not. And in fact, I’ve played it more than my Wii—Oblivion has over 200 hours on it, since I bought it last March, as does other games I have. Make sure you connect it to the internet, you get a silver subscribtion with the 360 for free, so you can download demos and movies and what not, and remember to network it your PC so you can stream music and wmv videos off of it.

I love nintendo, I have a DS Lite, Gamecube and Wii, and I used to own the NES, Gameboy and GBA, but I know when wrong is wrong. The Wii’s library sucks ass. I don’t recomend it now. The only thing worth getting is pretty much Zelda and Wario Ware.

Patrick, I hope you’re joking. The 360’s library kills anything out there right now, including the original Xbox library.

I like the Wii, as I said I already have one, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say the 360 was amazing.

You really can’t talk because you don’t own a 360. Sorry that comes off as kind of harsh, but from the experience of owning both systems, I can easily say that even WITH the lack of an internet connection, the 360 has better games than the Wii, and your brother has an internet connection so thats no problem.

Sorry dude, you’re just plain wrong on this one. 360’s library is amazing.

yeah pat is a dumbass. i personally like the xbox 360 more than the wii, but i don’t think the Wii is a crap. all consoles are cool, some are just more than others.

in the Wii’s case it’s just bc it’s a bit gimmicky like most of nintendo’s stuff.

You don’t need any physical effort to play on the Wii. You wont get tired if you don’t want too.

The 360 is the most over-rated system ever. Gears of War sucks, the graphics are the best part of the game, but if you dont have LIVE, then it gets boring real quick.

What else is there on the 360? Most of the games really are just bland.

The only reason to get a 360 is for Halo 3 and the new GTA.

The PS3 wont be good till MGS4 or an FF comes out for it.

Nintendo have gotten it right this time and I’m sure we’ll see it on top soon :D
