		<description>There&#039;s a pretty cool deserted town in Ras Al-Khaima called Jazeera Al-Hamra. I was there a few years ago and it&#039;s pretty interesting stuff: old houses left entirely intact (some with a bit of furniture left behind), but completely abandoned. I think they left it in the 1960s when the late Shaikh Zayed built them a new town in Abu Dhabi (although I&#039;m not entirely sure)
