With my Nikon D70 at 800 ISO there isn't a lot of noise. It depends on the camera. What Fuji is saying though is that they have developed new technology that will allow them to capture shots at ISO 3200 without a lot of noise. it depends. with my old Sony cam if i shot at 400 ISO the picture would be very noisy.
