Results were fairly decent. I like the square format of the photos but in general the photos look like they could have been taken by any camera. I guess thats a good thing since this camera did cost me only $20. I was hoping to see more weird effects like the picture above if you notice the bottom left area of the picture you can see it blur a bit. Now that I know the camera is working I am going to load it up with some cheap color medium format film and take some more shots. If you would like to see 3 more photos click on more. I just gave in my first role of black & white film to Boushari. Its going to cost me around KD5.500 to develop 12 pictures. Turns out they charge 4 times the regular amount to develop black & white pictures because they have to develop them manually. So in conclusion these 12 random pictures I took better be fucking good and even if they are this is the last time I will shoot with black & white. I never liked black & white photography during university so I don’t know why I bothered to try it again now. Anyway while there I picked up some colored film, cost me only 550fils, really cheap. ]]> By: Mark http://www.248am.com/mark/photography/my-holga/#comment-16217 Mark Fri, 18 Nov 2005 07:02:12 +0000 http://www.248am.com/?p=1476#comment-16217 noo noo not another 365! lol the past 2 days been keeping my camera at home and i feel so light! i will post another review with my pictures next week. iDip you can find medium format film at boushahri and kodak. you know the hardest part of the camera was loading the film and understanding how the system works. it turns out you dont rewind the film when you are done. you insert the film like a regular 35mm camera (load the film in the left hand side of the camera and pull out the film to the right side of the camera where the film rolls around there when you shoot. except with 35mm film when u r done, you roll the film back into its case on the left. with medium format film there is no case, its just film wrapped around and you roll it all onto the right when you are done. you then pull out the roll of film from the right side with the plastic thing you loaded the film onto. on the left side you will have only an empty plastic film holder which you now take and put on the right side to load the new film into. its pretty cool. i will take pics of that also. noo noo not another 365! lol
