Hey mark, i was trying to buy through apple’s shop any idea on how to do it without paying tax + make the shipment to aramex?
nope, i always purchased from amazon cuz i get it cheaper (a9 discount, associated discount, no tax and free shipping plus rebates)
guys i need mac geeks advice.
which to buy MacBook or MacBook Pro.. it’s for personal use ( office, web surfing, downloading) but the thing is i always leave my pc running for days and weeks without restarting, so will the MacBook put up with such pressure ?
MacBook is the way to go.
mark how is the resolution on the MacBook ? is intel video cards any good ? .. or u think i shall wait more till they change the video cards ?
well the MacBook Pro has a higher screen resolution because of the larger screen. For what you need the MacBook though the 1000$ price difference is not worth it. If you check some online reviews of the MacBook you will see that its performance is very close to the MacBook Pro.

similarly configured they are roughly $400 apart sony being more expensive.
that’s prob due to the fact that the sony has 2 video cards and other little ends such as the extra USB ports on the sony and the fact that the macbook has no internal 56k modem. the macbook has a higher bus speed though and the black one is more expensive just bc it’s black wtf?

The cheapest SZ I found was for $1799 on Amazon.
So for 700$ over the price of the MacBook I get what? A better VGA card and an extra USB port?
So we know the MacBook is cheaper, and we know the MacBook runs OSX… how is the Sony one better again?
