The Sultan Center Mega Market

TSC Mega Market

Sultan Center recently purchased Giant and Monoprix Supermarkets here in Lebanon and they’ve started rebranding them. Buzberry earlier in the month posted a picture of the TSC PLUS logo which is what they are calling their small branches and today I noticed their really large branch was branded as TSC Mega Market. Sultan Center now has incredible amount of market share since they purchased the two largest supermarket chains here in Lebanon.

i am pleased to see a Kuwaiti succesful firm being regional and hopfully one day international. Wish them all the best. Final thing to add, soon we will be seeing mini TSC in more than 30 convineit stores in al oula gas stations in Kuwait. I can see their success in this sector as well. All the best to TSC.
Note: i am not a frequent shooper though, but i like to sort out my US products from time to time.

The name has changed but nothing else has.. yet.
The stock is just a worn down version of what monoprix had before, but they have signs up saying experience the difference soon, so i guess they need some time to restock everything.

They still have a lot of competition from spinneys, but it seems like they’re buying out every chain thats willing to sell so i dont think it’ll last for long.
