What I found really amazing was that the light show on the ground of the stadium could have been done using a computer to control the sequence, but instead it was done manually by 100's of men tapping switches at different intervals. That was just amazing, the coordination between 100's of operators doing different rythms on the lights at the same time to give the desired effect. WOW! I’d seen bits and pieces of the opening ceremony at a friends place.
