Twister

Spotted my first twister ever today. I was on a photo shoot when we spotted the twister (pictured above) forming over the sea. The weather here in Lebanon has been extremely chilly and wet which sucks since I came with only t-shirts.

    A twister has to be over land, what you have here is called a waterspout.

    That’s right it’s called a waterspout! I have seen one off the coast of Galveston, TX. before.

    “Twister” is redneck slang for “tornado”, made popular by the movie. Tornado encompasses both landspouts and waterspouts.

    I saw one before in beirut next to Ramlet el Bayda.. man it was sooo near the coast seriousle meters away it could have gone into a disaster.. but thank god it vanished before it reaches the shores

    I guess Im not the only one who went to lebanon that weekend with only tshirts! I FROZE TO DEATH!!! I didnt know it was this cold and windy! BUT IT WAS AMAZING!! its better than being here in Kuwait for the dust storm ;) Hope you enjoyed ur trip!
