COD4
I passed by and picked up my copy of Call of Duty 4 today from Rihab in Hawalli. I’ve been playing it for around an hour now and so far I think its the best military first person shooter ever. There are sooooo many enemies all trying to kill you at the same time its just non stop chaos all the time.
COD4 > Halo 3.

Wow, COD4 is amazing! Everything from graphics to the way the story is laid out to the gameplay is top-notch! I’ve tried one online game so far and the exp system looks very fun, can’t wait to get more time on this game tomorrow!

I’ve been playing it a bit but the graphics are kinda on the shitty side so far.
The faces and clothes are almost PS1and it’s a bit jaggy but it has a lot of cool scenarios and loads of funny gaza 3rabi shit. it’s going to be a fun and hilarious game once i get to the sandnigger levels.

if u’re loving it that much on X360, then you must see it on PS3. The graphics are soooo good. I have it on the ps3, and so far it’s my favorite. I’m also waiting for Assassin’s Creed…it looks good too.

how long is the game play in campaign mode? coz i herd it was like 5-6 hours which is the reason im a bit reluctant to go and buy it.

As good as it most Undoubtedly is, holding 25kd in one hand and COD4 in the other knowing that this latest instalment is only going to last me 5 hours is a major reason i would walk away with the 25kd in my pocket. i loved all the other CODs but feel almost betrayed by the creators for making the lastest one so f**kin short.

Its KD20 and once you are done with the campaign mode you have the arcade mode and the online multiplayer so its no biggie. Want it to last longer just increase the difficulty.

Finally! Ubisoft decided to move away from WWII era and travel all the way to the modern time. I heard the “arabic dialogue” that you hear in the background and from the soldiers are well done.

luke, mark is right. The multiplayer alone will weigh more than 20KD. There is a game called Warhawk which is only multiplayer and even costs 20 KD.

sfsa battlefield modern combat sucks seriously…it doesn’t even compare to battlefield 2 on pc. COD4 is comparable to BF2, and that includes the console and pc versions of COD4.

Campaign took me a lot more than 5/6 hours on hard, its well worth the money even if you don’t plan on playing online. You can replay missions on higher difficulty, for achievements, you can try to find all the intel or you can play the arcade mode to gain a highscore etc.

i feel like everyone is loosing there minds! before online multiplayer would u have bought a game just so you could play multiplayer with your friends? i know i didnt. and as for playing it on a harder setting. WTF! its the same game but on a harder setting. you shouldnt have to think “what am i going to do now ive completeed it in a day”……..”i know ! i will play it all over again but on hard” whats next after u have completed it on hard? tie on hand behind your back? a blind fold? shit just unplug the AV cable so u cant see what your doing that should b a challenge

Luke you haven’t played it so you can’t really talk about the campaign mode length. For me the sniper stage alone is worth KD20. If you want a game that lasts long get an RPG.

Luke you can have a long campaign that sucks ass and is boring as hell or you can have a short campaign thats the best fucking thing ever. There is a difference.

Yes you need to play it to comment on the short campaign time..
Just because most reviewers found it to be 6 hours on normal doesnt mean it’ll take YOU 6 hours. Even then you shouldnt comment on the length because normal isnt that challenging and you should play it on a harder setting.
Oh and why should you replay the game? gee.. I dont know, maybe, just maybe, because the game is fun? Yeah I know, crazy isn’t it? a game being FUN?? what were the devs thinking?
Mark the sniper level was great, but the second part was very annoying.. Best level is death from above by far! I really liked the cargo ship level too!

yeah it kinda got annoying near the end but the begining was just so real. the guy infront of u the way he runs and the shadows, it gave me goose bumps. death from above was also cool. there are a lot of great battles and levels i cant wait to finish the game so i could go back and reply some again.

There were a lot of great games that came out this year, but the one game that shines the most is Portal, it comes with Half Life Orange box, its available on PC, Xbox 360 and soon on the PS3. So for 20kd you get Portal and some nice extras, like Half Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2 and Team Fortress 2 all on one DVD.

look i dont have a problem replaying games. most of the time the second time is more enjoyable anyway. but i do have a problem having to replay a game to feel like ive got my moneys worth. ok so yeh u are right it might take me longer than the 6 hours most reviews are saying it takes to finish but seriosly its quite a large down side. if reviews were saying it took 8 hours to finish i would have bought it already but you have to admit 6 hours is fuckin short. i dont know if u guys read reviews before u went out and bought cod4 or knew it was coming out and went and bought it. but knowing the campaign was 6 hours long (if u did prior to purchase) must have been a put off

Hey …. I totally agree COD4 is amazing!! My favorite levels are District and Downpour plus the class customization is perfect for this type of gameplay … Its so much better than Halo 3 …. but I got Assassin’s Creed on the PS3 today and that game is beyond amazing
