Nintendo Wii for $79
Last year Amazon had an offer where they sold a limited quantity of Xbox 360’s for $100. I tried to purchase one but wasn’t able to because their servers flooded and my connection wasn’t fast enough to get through. This year Amazon have a similar offer except its a chance to purchase the Nintendo Wii for only $79. For some reason they’ve changed the timings this year and now, if I want to have a chance to purchase one of these Wii’s, I need to be up Thursday at 5AM in the morning. Even though, I think I might actually wake up and try it. [Amazon Link]
update: Ok it seems its different from last years campaign. Since there was so much chaos last year, this year Amazon is RANDOMLY selecting 1000 customers who will be eligible to purchase the Wii at the discounted price.

Nope, it’s not like last year.
Amazon will randomly select 1000 customers who have ALREADY voted, and the eligible customers will have 1 full day to make the decision to pick up their lottery winning (of sorts).
Thursday is for the first round, friday for second round etc.
Here’s the calendar of event for the 5 rounds.
I am hoping to score the HD camcorder :)

I have voted for 4 of the 5 deals and all of the ones that I voted are the winning candidates - though I have no idea what I will do if I do get selected for the 46″ full-HD LCD TV for $719.

Thank God I bought my Wii same time last year. Although, I had to wait outside of Target from 2AM until 8AM. I had fun though, and it is definitely one of the best investments I’ve ever made.
