i dunno why, but Nintendo may not be in the “super league” (be honest, PSP made Nintendo look like it was manufacturing 1980’s games that require watch batteries to work.
But they make solid, useable, affordable, machines with good entertaining well-made games that the “boomers” want to play, not aiming (rightly) at 15 year old kids.
I would consider this before a PS3.

The best console right now with the best price. I am so getting this.
And this is coming from a PS2 and XBox fan.

Im personally happy with the XBox 360, the Wii just doesnt fit the type of games I would be playing. and the PS3 will have a world of problems when it launches. So Im sticking to my Xbox360 before anything else!

Marzoug: PS3 will have problems? How come??
Honestly I would save a month salary to get the PS3, even if I had to get a HDTV or anything to support their new BlueRay tech. Sony for life.

the Wii is really the only “next-gen” console if you really want to get into details. The 360 is a no-no for me because it’s just not appealing and the PS3 will be okay in a few years.
moocherx:
Nintendo caters to both hardcore gamers and casual gamers, I have to disagree with what you said about the PSP. The Nintendo DS’s graphics aren’t that bad, the PSP has better textures, but overall I’d pick gameplay over graphics anyday, hence why the DS is outselling the PSP (and everything else) all over the world and why some consider the PSP dead.
The PSP is just good enough if you want to enjoy remakes of PS1 games and if you want to have a portable porn machine, but it’s not worth the games they release on the PSP, because you can usually find them on the PS2 and if you can’t find it on the PS2, then it’s probably a crappy game.
Oh and the PS3 is not disappoint, even though Sony is pissing off everyone now, I wouldn’t be surprised if the PS3 sold well, and then in the end won the “battle” over the 360.
Nintendo all the way. Cheap, fun, and cool.

Hey ..
this Wii machine .. is the next generation , different way to play games . u move the stick and it moves .. u can play tennis with it
Xbox360 .. has an advantage of the Xbox LIVE ! its so amazing .. and its easily connected to the PC . its a good machine . the games arent that solid though
Nintendo .. the company doesnt focus on cutting edge latest technology graphics . it gives u Animation like games . and AMAZING gameplay . thats the advantage they have ,.. game play ..
Sony .. PSP sucks .. why ? coz its not REALLY REALLY portable .. it takes alooot of time just to start a game .. loadings takes much .. and the games arent that great . most if its games werent made for portables ..
unlike the Nintendo DS .. most of the games were made for portable .. and its FAAAAST to switch it on and start playing

PSP is portable and if you are launching games off the memorystick there barely is any loading time..

What’s this weird looking crap? It looks like a kids toy….Why is everyone so excited about it? Can someone give me the scoop please.
12. Patrick | September 15th, 2006 at 5:18 pm
Toxy: It’s the only system that is really “next-gen”. The Xbox 360 and PS3 just improved the graphics, but Nintendo took it a step ahead and changed the gaming concept. Games aren’t just graphics and I Hate games that have pretty graphics but shitty gameplay. Videogaming is about the experience, not how good the game looks.
So with the Wii, you’ll be actually swinging swords with the “Wiimote” or flying a plane with it. It might sound weird, but it works pretty well and it’s really fun from the looks of it.

Hashim: The thing about the PS3 is that the Blu-Ray is what delayed its launch. Secondly they wont have enough units to send it off. They barely started production and are supposed to sell 2 million in November but they dont think they will even have that.
Since the PS3 is having problems with the Blu Ray they arent the only ones. And people arent sure about compatability issues with normal tvs. Will it work well with non-1080p televisions. So you have a lot on your plate to think about before purchasing a PS3.
I want one probably just like you, but since its have so many problems and delays. I would rather wait and see what happens. At least wait 6 months. Thats what I did with the 360 before purchasing it!
14. Hashim | September 15th, 2006 at 5:52 pm
Marzouq:I know I cannot wait 6 months but I will try and wait a while before rushing and buying one. Thanks for the info.

250 euro
16. Mark | September 15th, 2006 at 7:21 pm
No, not Euro, 250 US Dollars

Biggest problem with Bluray is that even though it holds more info then a dvd, the drive thats included on the PS3 is slower then the dvd drive on the Xbox 360 meaning load times will be very long..

wiiiiiyyy i3yoony. what a dumb fucking name. it’s even worse than gaycube, who comes up with this shit?
it better have fantastic games.
18. Toxy | September 15th, 2006 at 9:58 pm
Thanks Patrick, I guess thrusting your hand at the screen could be kinda fun……but I can’t imagine that you’d want to do it for every game.
Sometimes it’s nice to lie back on the bean bag and move as little as possible…..kinda like a slug on a leaf.
19. Patrick | September 16th, 2006 at 1:01 am
Toxy: You don’t need to be swinging and thrusting at the screen constantly, it’s not as tiring as it seems, it’s not a workout. You could sit back and just chill out and play on the Wii or go crazy and thrust and swing all you want lol.

the main drawback of the Wiiiiiiiii is that it doesn’t support HDMI..
plus its too gayish just like the gamecube with all those pokemon and mario games..

You can always just by the regular controller, if, for some reason, you get “tired” from the Wiimote.

3 months running xbox 360 and playing games on xbox live. not a glitch and very happy with the media experience. I connected the xbox to my media center pc and i can watch all my photo on my HDTV screen and even watch videos and its all wireless. The wirless joystick is amazing and i didnt face a single problem with it. The graphics are great and the console is ultra fast.
Only time ever I agree with Patrick on one thing is that there arent enough good games to play. But thats not an x360 problem. All the new consoles have this problem. Good games are drying out.
Wii sounds like u just stepped on a rat.
PS3 will launch after 2010 hopefully with features already available on all other consoles and with no exclusive games anymore.
23. Patrick | September 17th, 2006 at 1:59 pm
Fadibou: Xbox 360 = teh suck. What’s going to be sad is the fact that the PS3 is $600 and is going to be released in November, and it’s still going to outsell the Xbox 360. It’s inevitable.
Microsoft sucks.
