This guy is literally worshipped like a god in south india. Prolly explains the hurt sentiments of Rami there.
but seriously, i’ve seen even funnier clips of this guy, will try finding em if i can. One scene i remember is that he puts a knife in front of his gun and shoots a single bullet from it, which the knife splits in two and ends up killing two bad guys in front of him.
Don’t you get it???? It’s all about catering to the masses of India!! This genre is made specifically to target the lower income group strata (no offense); and it’s all due to these very people that Rajnikant dervies his Billions from!!!
Win Win on both accounts I’d say.

My friends and I share the opinion that 90% of Indian movies are lame ass clichéd stories with a lot of mindless singing and dancing.. and we’re 100% Indian btw. :)
i am more than sure if it was an Egyptian movie it would be as funny, so Krishna sit back, relax and enjoy entertainment at its best!

@nyx: The movie that got 10 Oscars was directed by Danny Boyle Writer: Simon Beaufoy Both Englishmen and there was no Rajnikanth. May be that’s the reason it got 10 Oscars.

Couldnt digest the fact that an Indian Movie won it; so you go and rant it was directed by an Englishman. hahahah!
It was set in India, acted by Indians, Co – Directed by an Indian, Produced by an Indian to some extent, lyricist and musician was an Indian and guess what mate; majority Wins!! India all the way!! Eat your heart out now!

This one is really funny esp. the last bit with his feet…I’ve never been able to understand Rajnikant action, it’s always been over the top. I remember this one scene where he lights a cigarette by throwing it in the air then shoots at it and it lands in his mouth all lit up!!! btw I’m Indian.
