well i found it interesting thats why i posted it. i mentioned it was disturbing and what the video was about so that people who can’t handle it dont watch it.

  10. 10. Haha | November 19th, 2007 at 11:45 pm

Yeah MiRoOoOo!i! all Saudies are barbarians, just like all us Kuwaities are fags. Don’t you just love generalising? Fucking hell Mark, that’s some crazy shit.

  11. 11. Croco Rock | November 19th, 2007 at 11:52 pm

Typical Saudi….I mean come on, does this thing really surprise you?

  12. 12. Safi | November 20th, 2007 at 12:18 am

I think it’s utter BS when people generalize. I have met plenty of proper educated and civilized Saudis. A3ootha be’Allah from this kind of heinous acts being in Kuwait.

  13. 13. ananyah | November 20th, 2007 at 12:58 am

sorry Mark but just because it interests you doesn’t mean its right to blog for others to view. It’s a life that was lost, not some joke

  14. 14. Damon Dash | November 20th, 2007 at 1:20 am

mark i saw this months ago its pretty old , i cant believe you guys didn’t see this before! she cheated on him on there bed and he caught her in the act, i think he did her a favor throwing her from the 2nd floor at least she might have a chance of living, if he reported her to the police she and her boyfriend would been executed for sure which is what the penalty for adultery in KSA

  15. 15. Moey | November 20th, 2007 at 2:12 am

still Demon Dash, even if she fucked another person in their bed, KSA and the guy’s solutions are stupid and immature, and disrespectful to the creation of the human beings.

  16. 16. Wer3Y | November 20th, 2007 at 2:19 am

    OMG!!! i cant believe it
    ra7at sum3at el 3arab thats sad!

  17. 17. Haha | November 20th, 2007 at 2:21 am

Ananyah is this your blog? Does Mark come on your blog and tell you not to post horrible music? No. Why? Well it’s your blog, he has NO right to tell what to post and what not to post. Hell, if he wants to post the video of 2girls1cup, he can. If the video offends you? Don’t watch it, but don’t come bitching on someone’s blog with a holier than thou attitude on what should be posted.

    End of rant.

  18. 18. Spooner | November 20th, 2007 at 2:25 am

Wow.Thats all i can say im in a state of shock ! didn’t think anyone would do anything like that, even if his wife was cheating.Fuck.

  19. 19. abdvllah | November 20th, 2007 at 7:22 am

Well if a Saudi man divorced his wife because she watched the news announcer alone, I’m not really surprised nor shocked from this video.

  20. 20. Chirp | November 20th, 2007 at 9:06 am

Thats some horrible thing to tape, I don’t think I would be able to get my phone out and record a woman hanging from the 2nd floor window. I don’t want to know what was going through her head or his head, or the head of the person taping.

  21. 21. Adam | November 20th, 2007 at 9:12 am

i am actually for the person taping this video. The more evidence to pin this asshole the better. The person did nothing wrong, and considering you dont know his intentions dont be quick to judge him negatively.

  22. 22. Mark | November 20th, 2007 at 9:17 am

Ananyah I didn’t say it was funny.

  23. 23. cali87 | November 20th, 2007 at 9:21 am

For the people telling Mark what to post and what not to post, its Mark’s blog so he can post whatever he wants. If you can’t take the heat and prefer viewing the world with rose colored glasses then don’t watch these clips. These things happen in the world and I for one prefer to live in reality and see the world for what it is- there are good and bad people out there. Oh and Ananyah, I recommend you not to watch the news either cause you might see people getting shot or executed or even clips like this.

Mark, keep posting away- you have one of the better Kuwaiti based blogs out there.

  24. 24. Sunny | November 20th, 2007 at 9:49 am

    wow . . a snuff video. sweet

  25. 25. Equalizer | November 20th, 2007 at 9:51 am

That is exactly why you need capital punishment more often. There is alot of those crazy people out there. Many of you have brushed shoulders with them at the Avenues.

  26. 26. Croco Rock | November 20th, 2007 at 10:01 am

Generalize over Saudi? Other than it’s a sick shit society, nothing else to debate is there?

Sadly those sick fcukers are paying off members of Kuwait to try to instill their sick beliefs beyond their borders.

  27. 27. Jolie_Gal | November 20th, 2007 at 10:34 am

    Wow…I’m speechless.

One question though: what is the punishment for cheating husbands in Saudi Arabia…? I mean, will they get the same punishment as cheating wives?

  28. 28. holla | November 20th, 2007 at 11:02 am

Honour killings are so fucked up. What a sick fucking culture.

  29. 29. a girl | November 20th, 2007 at 11:28 am

sorry but is not only in KSA, this guy found his wife in their house cheating right, what do you say about honor killing in Jordan , when I guy kills his sister or wife or relative just cuz some one told him he saw her with a man!? This is happening alot. Jordan is number 1 in the Middle East in honorably killings

This is wrong. Even in Islam you have to have witnesses ,evidence and so on,,, and it is sooo hard to a establish.

no educations ….. Tied to old fucked up traditions cuz shit to happen

  30. 30. cajie | November 20th, 2007 at 12:20 pm

Assuming that the story is true (cheating wife caught in bed), this could pretty much happen in any society - whether Islam or Western.

The only difference here is someone actually managed to get a video of the disturbing punishment in progress.

  31. 31. Croco Rock | November 20th, 2007 at 12:41 pm

The only difference in Saudi Cajie, is that people throw humans out of windows in broad day light. LOL…..

Saudi rocks. I wish Kuwait was the same.

I think i’ll email this clip to CNN….

  32. 32. Moey | November 20th, 2007 at 1:28 pm

this is there in every Bedouin society, they call it Jara2em El Sharaf! which means that the family can’t stand out and face the public when a girl holding that last name does something wrong according to their standards.

for example: in some society women are not allowed to eat gum and walk without a veil in the street, this girl comes up. she leaves the house in veil and fixed, goes to university campus, change in the toilet and put make up on. do you think her brother/cousin would let her walk in campus, and try to be a bitch (according to her standards)?

they will kill her or hurt her, because they believe in “Deil el kalb ma ben3edel” (translation: you can never straighten a dog’s tail).

sorry for the long reply, it’s just a culture like any other culture around. I guess, we just have to understand it! fixing it, won’t happen. this thing is like identity for them.

  33. 33. Moey | November 20th, 2007 at 1:29 pm

sorry for the bad composition I wrote that really quick.

  34. 34. N10452 | November 20th, 2007 at 2:04 pm

I read one comment on youtube saying this was a police officer trying to hold her ? and that she is still alive and was caught by the police offers who gathered to catch her ?

  35. 35. Adam | November 20th, 2007 at 3:05 pm

#34 yea, it also looked like it.

I should also like to this time to honor and thank out great Philosopher “Moey” for his outstanding philosophies and observations.

  36. 36. ran | November 20th, 2007 at 3:33 pm

culture/tradition changes over time. burning people at the stake was acceptable part of culture/tradition at one point. but it changed as people understood the inhumanity in it. this has something to do with the inherent mentality of that sicko guy. he has been brought up to believe that what he did was correct. this is the most frightening part.

  37. 37. fatfukka | November 20th, 2007 at 3:37 pm

Maybe he’d watched too much Heroes and thought she would repair herself.

  38. 38. Lama | November 20th, 2007 at 4:37 pm

see your self, in every place there is good and bad.

In my judgment: both should get death penalty

  39. 39. Jolie_Gal | November 20th, 2007 at 5:06 pm

Death penalty for adultery? Man…if that was the case, there would be no men left in this world. Whatever happen to simply divorce your cheating spouse?????

  40. 40. LeP | November 20th, 2007 at 9:20 pm

why did u even post it?
    you found it interestin???geez Mark…

  41. 41. Z | November 20th, 2007 at 11:54 pm

  42. 42. SWOS | November 21st, 2007 at 12:15 am

    thats disturbing..

  43. 43. badawi | November 21st, 2007 at 6:38 am

both kuwaitis and saudis are a retarded bunch. Some get sent to the west to get educated but deep down its the same retarded genes. I know that might be offensive but its the truth…bedouins will always be bedouins…it hasnt even been a couple of generations

    dumbasses

  44. 44. Angelo | November 21st, 2007 at 12:12 pm

Just as some one else stated before. This is your blog Mark, so you can post anything you want. However, just to avoid any problems, you might want to write a bold warning that this video is not for weak hearts or something.

It is indeed very disturbing but then again, this is nothing new even in the west. Some people here are stating this is very normal in the Middle East, yet it is quite rare even. There are some ill traditions and laws that are extremely retarded; yet we should not generalize. I mean woman and child abuse in the US has skyrocketed in the recent years and many husbands in the west ended up killing their wives in process. Some cases are just plain sick. I bet that if this video was shot in Australia or UK, people won’t be generalizing as hell, but just because this was taken in KSA, all Saudis and probably Middle-Easterners have to take the bad rep.

  45. 45. AMS | November 21st, 2007 at 11:57 pm

I found it interesting (as Mark said).
and these things are happening and you have to know about it.
    It’s worse not to know.
beside you could turn-off the video before she falls, or don’t see it!!
I wonder what have she done so the reaction was that bad???
    Too much psi!

  46. 46. jolie_gal | November 22nd, 2007 at 12:03 am

    Angelo,

Sure domestic violence happens not just in Saudi Arabia or in the Arab world…it’s everywhere. What gives Saudi Arabia a bad rep though, it’s legalized under the so-called Honor Killing. Kinda like glorified murder, there in public…and as many here believe, that sick guy can get a way with it. THAT kind of murder will never escape law in many other countries.

  47. 47. Damon Dash | November 22nd, 2007 at 3:32 am

by the way, the death penalty is only for married women who is seen by at least 3 people in the act of cheating on her husband.
if it was a man committing adultery they consult the family of the women he did it with, if they agree that he marries her then nothing happens to him or her but he has to stay married to her for at least 5 years “this is in Kuwait too but if you don’t agree you go to jail for 5 years not executed”

but if the women was married and committed adultery “which is i think the case in this video’ death is certain for the women and her lover whether he was married or not.

    kinda sad huh?

  48. 48. ERS | November 22nd, 2007 at 7:11 am

I am not at all a cultural relativist about this. I believe in universal human rights, and I find this inhumane and unacceptable.

  49. 49. jolie_gal | November 22nd, 2007 at 12:08 pm

    Let me get this straight….

So if a woman cheats, she gets death penalty. But if a man cheats, he gets what…another wife??? And forcing him to waste 5 years of his life with this new wife or in jail is supposed to be equal to a woman losing her life???? That’s very sad and OUTRAGEOUS!

I don’t get it. But I do get the bitterness and struggle some women face in this part of the world. If it’s because of the religion..I’m a moslem too and I do know that adultery is a sin. However I have a different stance regarding the severity of its punishment. I think divorcing the adulterous woman, and the shame she has to live with, is punishment enough.

Even so, if that’s the custom here…hey at least the punishment should be equal, non-discriminating to both gender. It’s very hypocrite of a man to kill his adulterous wife when in fact he might just commit the same sin a while ago and got punished with a new wife. Honor-killing my ass..

  50. 50. hollasmomboytoy | November 22nd, 2007 at 2:58 pm

    LET THERE BE DEATH…
    cool video, more MORE!

  51. 51. Haitham Issam | November 23rd, 2007 at 12:24 pm

If he actually caught her in the act, why would he dress her the Abaya before throwing her off the window?

  52. 52. Croco Rock | November 23rd, 2007 at 2:49 pm

LOL….Course he didn’t catch her in the act…He was probably banging his maid, she caught him, didn’t want the family to know - so threw her out of the window before she had a chance to tell anyone.

    Saudi Arabia Rocks!!!!

  53. 53. Growing | November 25th, 2007 at 4:36 am

    “…kinda disturbing”

    kinda??!

  54. 54. Growing | November 25th, 2007 at 5:07 am

    # 43: badawi:

“both kuwaitis and saudis are a retarded bunch”

    Really?

So it’s the Saudis that have been massacring each other and mass murdering their own countrymen on a daily basis in internal conflicts for the past -God knows how many- decades??

Or is it the Kuwaitis? Hmmm…what a barbaric people.

  55. 55. Karen Tintori | November 26th, 2007 at 9:37 pm

This is as disturbing a video as the one shot on cellphones by men who did nothing to stop the stoning of a young Kurdish girl earlier in the year.

There is nothing honorable about killing your wife, sister, daughter or niece. Ever.

The world needs to see videos like these, hideous as they are.

    Karen Tintori, author
“Unto the Daughters: The Legacy of an Honor Killing in a Sicilian-American Family”

  56. 56. 3ali | November 27th, 2007 at 11:34 pm

Very disturbing… even if she cheated, he had no right to torture the girl by leaving her hanging like that. He’s not Allah, he can’t pass judgment for what she has done. If she cheated, he should have either sent her to the authorities and they would have prosecuted her according to their moronic law. Or he should have just forgiven her and just divorced her.

But to people thinking that disgusting shit like this happens only in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, you are very wrong. Bad people are all over this world, it’s reality. There is a case of someone killing his baby girl for tripping over his Xbox in the United States. Google it, if you don’t believe me.
