Looking at the race pace, it is evident that Ferrari was very competitive and could have easily overtaken Renault with a good strategy, even if they started on second grid. A 7 seven time world champion cannot be stupid enough to risk crashing his car into a wall or being rear ended. It’s stupid to believe that just because someone is a 7 time world champion, he is infallible.

It was clear he locked the breaks by mistake and it was a grey area on wether he should have reversed or waited for the marshals. Anyway he started last and still managed to be the only driver to overtake and he got the fastest lap in the race and he had the pole position which clearly meant he had the fastest qualifying time.
