The Failed Escape in Abu Halifa
360Dewan posted this messed up video that was shot here in Kuwait of a pickup truck dragging a car behind it. When I first watched the video I thought the car in the back was pushing the truck but then I realized the car in the back had the brakes held down most of the time. By the end of the video it turns out the pickup truck somehow crashed into the car (probably reversed into it) and then tried escaping but the car got attached to the truck and was being dragged alone. In the end a woman comes out of the car screaming asking people to help her out. [YouTube]

Really scary. The guy must have panicked and once he started dragging the other car. He knew he had already crossed the line and continued driving – hoping to get rid of the stuck car.
Those saying that the guy recording should have done something – what would you do? Drive in front of a maniacn and risk your own life?
He should have called 777 though and put off that stupid music.
Well, at least there is now evidence to prosecute the idiot.

The guy filming wasn’t taking it seriously, I suspect he filmed the video to upload on YouTube rather with the intention to take it to the police. Read the description of the video on the link and the picture will become clearer.

I really feel sad for the lady. First some moron drags their car for at least two minutes in the street (and as a bonus he goes over the frickin’ median), and then “COME COME COME! COME! WHAT’S YOUR PROBLEM? WHAT’S YOUR PROBLEM?” (though, this may have been his way of saying “Is everything alright?” — but then, as #21 said, if you read the video description on YouTube, it makes you wonder what the guy’s intentions were)

I read the comments on Youtube, seems like the truth is not reveled yet. Some people think that there is an American driver in the sedan and he is drunk”We did not see him”, some say that there was a fight btw Kuwaiti guy and the American got out of hand the Kuwaiti guy backed up on him and dragged him…. Some don’t know what’s up and some say that it was a simple mistake when the Kuwaiti guy backed up in the parking lot hit the car and got scared then tried to get away. I dont know who to believe
