Cops or Outlaws?

With all the rules, policies and restrictions in Kuwait regarding driving, the least we’d expect is to have cops and officers behaving as role models not breaking the law. Yesterday I saw a police car on a traffic light drive off from the far left to the far right to take a right turn when the light had turned green, disturbing the traffic in the process and bothering the rest of the cars. When I told Mark about it, he told me it wasn’t a big deal, that they do it all the time. Then today I was going to work in the morning, and as I was going towards the traffic light which had Turned Red, I saw another police car run the red light a few seconds after it had turned red and it didn’t even have it’s sirens on to start with, so it couldn’t have been an emergency. Now we all get fined when we break the rules but who’s there to punish the bad cops?
