Hip Hop Anyone?
I’ve always kind of been into dancing. I did like 3 years of jazz back when I was in school but then I never really had the chance to get into something else afterwards.
Lately I’ve been watching “So You Think You Can Dance” and I must say that I’ve totally gotten hooked on Hip Hop. They have some really good different style dancers on the show but the Hip Hop dancers (breakdancing, popping, locking, krumping etc..) are just fucking amazing. Does anyone know of any dance school in Kuwait that has Hip Hop classes or even something close enough to Hip Hop?? I really hope someone does!!

your country is being torn apart and you want to learn hiphop? like now? jeez, khalas ya3ni?, since ur brother and nat left its not a hot topic anymore? typical.
2. mishref | July 27th, 2006 at 10:39 pm
I 2nd what Dalia’s saying. Shame on you Nat. The money you want to spend on dancing send it to your family out there.

5. Mark | July 27th, 2006 at 11:14 pm
what the fuck. some people are real assholes.
6. Nat | July 27th, 2006 at 11:38 pm
Ok so just because some ignorant assholes started a war in my country I should put my life on hold till the war is over? My family is fine and more than safe and It’s none of your business to tell me what I should do with my money. I provide for my family more than enough whenever they need me. If you have nothing good to say keep your rude comments to yourself next time.

OH YES…I’m a big fan of the show…I’m rooting for Travis and Banji cuz they are good dancers and for the girls…I root for Natalie and Allison.
How about you ^_^

Unlike the retarded comments from some people here, i have a useful comment to make :) Theres a place next to the Eastpak Jansport store in salmiyah called kabla something or the other n they have hiphop dance classes. You probably wont find that many people in the class and i dont know if its that good but my friend tried she said it was fun and a really good workout.. its like 20 kd per month, and i think twice or three times a week..they let you try out a class first to see if you like it then you can join…

Dalia, piss off will you. It’s ok to have a life outside of the terror you sad dork. Go back to Saudi already.
Hahaha….Amazin….Nat, which channel are you watching ‘So you can Dance on?’ I didn’t think they aired it here.
I think the best place to learn hiphop dancing is to go to Marina Mall on a Friday afternoon and ask one of the many savages who frequent the joint for some lessons….
Not only do they have the moves, but the dress sense to boot…. :-p

If people just want to at least enjoy their lives then they should.. since you dont know anything you guys are rude as fuck.. sitting behind your computer at home safe and comfortable.. if YOU want to do something .. go over to lebanon and help or just shut the fuck up..
Ok.. that aside.. I have always thought about doing hip hop class.. but then I realized I would need to lose the weight.. and try but damn Im just too fuckin lazy! hehehe!

I used to go to this dance class for break-dance, but now they closed, I do know that my school, BSK, will be starting hip-hop dance classes in the evenings. They now have Salsa and someother stuff, not sure. You can call them in september.
14. miyafushi | July 28th, 2006 at 9:27 am
I would love to know too.
Nat if you find a good place can you please drop me an email?
Thanks :)

i am rooting for Mussa and Travis. I just got to episode 14 and they are still both in it. Nat i think wants Demetri. I dont think she cares if he wins or not she just wants him lol
16. Nat | July 28th, 2006 at 10:59 am
Fallen Angel I’m rooting for Travis and Dimitri for the guys, just like they said Dimitri is like a Greek god, hehe. Superhot indeed! As for the girls I’m rooting for Nataly and Alison as well. I really don’t like Donyelle and Ivan.
Nina thanks alot for your input:) I will go check it out!! I’m more interested in the quality of the teaching than the actual workout. I want to learn the style. Will give you my feedback once I try it out.
Toxy, Mark downloaded season 1 and season 2 up to episode 14 and we’ve been watching season 2. It’s really cool. Hehe good one about Marina mall:P
Marzouq if the class turns out to be good, I will let you know, maybe you can stop being lazy for a change:)
Dj evolution it would be cool if BSK does that, I will give them a call in september. Anyway thanx dude.
Miyafushi I’ll surely let you knonw once I find a decent place and hopefully I will:)

i am lebanese mishref, the country is falling apart and people are dead on the streets, i’m not sitting behind the computer, i work with the refugees for a minimum of 12 hours per day making sure they have enough food and medicine. the reason i was reading the blog in the first place, is becuase when the attacks first started people here actually showed support, and then nothing… back to dance classes, so thanks for showing us that people out there care.

The Allies played football with the Germans in no-man’s-land during WW1 …lighten up, people! :-D
19. Mark | July 28th, 2006 at 1:18 pm
Dalia this is not a news blog, this is a personal blog. I already spoke my views on whats going on in Lebanon but I will not turn this into a poltical blog. If you want a blog related to whats going on in Lebanon then please check http://www.ouwet.com
20. Dalia | July 28th, 2006 at 3:30 pm
the thing is i first started checking ur blog while you were ‘expressing your views on the matter’ therefore nats sudden interest in hip hop was quiet sudden to me, so maybe next time you could make the transition a liitle more gradual for those that are still living in the midst of this.
21. Toxy | July 28th, 2006 at 6:37 pm
Dalia - the exit is - that way.
You are not welcomed here.
As clearly stated - It’s a fun blog, not a political blog….Go away please.
22. holla | July 29th, 2006 at 12:02 am
i really respect mark and nat for this website and their personal views on various matters.
this place prob has the most freedom of speech you could find anywhere in this cunt of a peninsula.
23. chikapappi | July 29th, 2006 at 11:35 am
My God, i go crazy when i watch it! They “Hip Hop” soooooooo good!
24. Christine | July 29th, 2006 at 3:35 pm
that was quite a harsh thing to say, you would think you could support a fellow lebanese during such dire times, and you kick her out of your blog? how shameful, and mark, its obvious the you are Toxy, who else would give himself the right to kick someone from a blog that isnt theres? i for one, cannot believe you are related to rampurple. this war IS peronal, not political, after all, you are lebanese arent you?
25. Nat | July 29th, 2006 at 5:47 pm
Christine first of all nobody kicked Dalia from the blog for giving her opinion. Nobody gets kicked unless they get offensive towards other users. Toxy is not Mark. He/she’s a different user just giving his/her opinion. Second of all you are not lebanese and you probably have no clue what this war is really about so what are your really basing your opinion on weather this war is political or personal?

32. abeng3 | December 23rd, 2006 at 1:21 pm
nat. you can try miss champion they give hip hop classes everyday.
but the dancing style on the show is a creative work if you know what i mean.
you can learn it all by your self and create your own hip hop style
watch more video clips
and if you know the belly dancing you can mix both hip hop with the belly dancing and see the outcome and thank me later ;)
33. Char | January 19th, 2007 at 6:40 pm
Nat and to those fellow dance lovers who live in Kuwait, just moved here and have been searching for dance classes since I arrived here. I would love to get involved in hip hop classes so if you found a fun spot that gives classes during the week/weekends please let me know. Would love to check it out.
Thanks
