Internet Issues

Some people are having internet issues in Kuwait Today. Some fiber link seems to be down. Mark didn’t have internet at home this morning and he thought our internet subscription had expired but then he came to the office and he didn’t have internet there as well. Nibaq also didn’t have any internet at home. I also just read from a source that the 6th floor of Town Exchange Communication building got burned down. This is a major thing that caused all ISPs in Kuwait to go down. Here’s the link to the source. More info will be provided as it comes..

UPDATE:
There was a fire at the liberation tower and Fastelco got hit badly. All their stuff in town exchange got burnt.

Town Exchanges are down from 01.12 Hrs on 29th Jan due to the fire. Several ISPs have shutdown their equipment and also MOC have shutdown electricity to the building. The building is still under fire department and no one have any specific time to restore the service.
