Sopranos Addiction

I’ve recently started watching The Sopranos and I have to say I’ve completely gotten addicted to it. I’m currently at season 3 and it’s all I can think of, when I’m at home, at work, in the car, at the gym, more or less anywhere and I blame it all on Mark. A few months ago when I tried watching one of the episodes, it just didn’t do it for me and I was the least interested in watching another one. But then, Mark decided to download all 5 seasons and he more or less forced me to sit and start watching them with him one after the other, sometimes watching up to 6-7 episodes a day. The first 2 episodes seemed weird at first but then I quickly got used to the story and it’s characters to the point of getting completely drawn to it. We spent all of our last 3-day weekend watching the second season and getting into the third. I hope we can finish the remaining 3 seasons soon so that I can have my life back.

“they say season 6 is when the show jumped the shark”

Interesting when you consider that they’re only 6 episodes into the 6th season. In my opinion, it took Season 2 of Lost until well after episode 13 or so to get interesting, and I remember hearing similiar things about it. I’ll agree that 6 started off strange (and channeling some soap opera), though.

re: the post, I never watched Sopranos until a few months ago. I watched the first 5 seasons in a matter of a couple of weeks and then had to wait until March for Season 6, so I can totally relate.

Its episode like 17 of season 2 of Lost now and its barely making it as “interesting”. Season 1 was wayyy better…

well, I’ve watched every episode from S1-E1 to S6-E5, and I’m about to watch E6 in a bit too. It’s as exciting as ever, and I’m still anxious after every episode to watch more. It’s one of my favorite shows of all time.

@Mark. Agreed. But if you compare just within season 2, these last few episodes were awesome. :P
