iPod shuffle Review

I ordered my 1GB iPod shuffle the second day it came out, it was just too tempting. I frequently go to the gym so it seemed like the perfect deal and indeed it was.. I had a few issues with it in the beginning when I tried using it with my husband’s powermac but then I started downloading songs onto it from my powerbook and it worked perfectly fine. I highly recommend it, its very practical, it came with a lanyard so I carry it around my neck everyday to work. Also Its perfect for work out since its light weight, running on the threadmill or any other machine is not a hassel when I have my shuffle on. I also have a pink mini iPod which I mostly use whenever im at work, I tried working out with my mini before but it wasnt practical at all..It was just too heavy and I was always getting worried it would fall off and break. . So for all of you athletes, iPod shuffle is definitly the ultimate mp3 player for working out.

Got the 512mb shuffle for my son who,in turn, is reluctant to use till I told him about a review that graced its sound quality over both previous versions.
Like you, I too wanted to buy an mp3 player to use in the gym (so no moving parts in the player). I must have read and re-read countless reviews about the different flash-based mp3 players out there and finally ordered the Samsumng YP-T7Z. This baby is gorgeous! It is *so* feature packed. The sound quality is outta this world and it also has Equalizer settings like SRS WOW and even user-customizable EQ settings. But the best feature has to be the on-the-fly FM Radio to mp3 conversion. It gives crystal clear mp3’s directly encoded from any FM channel at the touch of a button (sampling rate is customizable — upto 192kbps).
Not to beat on the iShuffle or anything, but I like my mp3 players with a display, thank you :r
The only reason why people by Ipod Shuffle’s is because they are sheeps. There are so much better, cheaper mp3 players WITH a screen than this ugly Shuffle…
[...] Wow, Apple just released a software (for mac and pc) called the iPod shuffle reset utility. Basically this software brought my iPod shuffle back from the dead! [Link] Filed under: Apple, Software Posted by Mark on 10.26.06 | Related Entries [...]
