I wonder though who would risk going up to 30 KM or more when his tank light comes on, lol

It’s too daring for me to push it to the limits!!! Thank you very much…. I’ll rather stop by the next gas station or the next time I turn the engine on!
Never drove more than 30 miles with the light indicator on!

I have seen Mythbusters experiment with that sort of thing. Besides, doesn’t it, in some way or the other, adversely affect the well being of the car? I would imagine it does.

thursday on my way back home from your place my bikes fuel light lit up but was too lazy to fill up
sunday on my way to work in the morning i was late so i didn’t stop to fill up gas
in the evening while leaving work the gas was practically empty. it turned off twice with me on my way to the gas station and the rest of the time it was chugging along with the rpm jumping up and down. i was lucky and managed to get to the gas station on my bike not pushing it.

Mark: hahaha! You would have been stranded and its not the best thing on a bike! At least you could push it to the gas station if it was close!

it depends on the speed you are driving and the condition of the car
