How to unlock the iPhone
I got a lot of emails and some people left comments asking me how to unlock the iPhone. Well if anyone took 2 seconds to google it they would have found a ton of “how-to guides”. If you have a mac just download INdependence, activate the iPhone then copy anySIM to the iPhone and launch it to unlock it. It can’t get any easier and its free.

did you get it hehe, i called the driver and he said they have tons of packages and they got done at 2am, might do there as its a gift for my wifes bday and its already belated

Would the rest of the iPhone functions work? for example, to be able to Sync my movies, music and photos with iTunes?
if u have a PC then use a prog called ibricker or apptapp then install anysim and run it.
Went and picked it up – make sure you got cash for customs, it was 32kd for me.

i am still waiting for mine, should get here by 4 I was told.
I went around 2 and they were sorting everything out, they had a list with “Must Deliver Today” so i guess its time to see how much they love you
I managed to activate it and get the anysim software, now how do i get the anysim software onto the phone ?
bb i just ordered 4GB iPhone from Apple.com with my AMEX and delivered to my Aramex address with no problem at all .. they accept the order and they’ve shipped it with tracking number.

great news ! bas why 4gb ? it wouldent hold the things you want, even apple said that the most requested one is the 8GB, i thought they even stopped producing the 4GB.
But if you are the M.U.D.1./.2 i know, then 4GB is more than good for you cuz you dont like alot of music ;P
Right now i have 4 full movies (dvd rips) with like 100 mp3 songs and some photos … i still have around 150-200MB free..which i think is enough for most people.
PEOPLE your not going to use your iPhone as a storage device u will delete files from it and copy movies,music,pictues..etc to it , and its easy n simple since u’ll charge it every 1-2 days on your dock which is always connected to ur pc..which couldnt even be easier.

That “Hacktheiphone” website is great. I’m unlocking mine, but I don’t have the latest firmware (1.0.2). It says I need to restore mine before continuing.
How do i put the latest firmware on it?

I just managed to process my order from Apple store using NBK Visa card, and it went through.
Now to get ready for the unlocking.

couple of days ago Apple announced that they will release the IPhone on November 9th in both Germany with T-Mobile and in the UK with O2. Sadly, they will both release the EDGE virsion of Iphone (just like the US). Supposedly, Apple will particepate tomorrow in the Paris Technology show (Sep 25-29) to announce the Europe release officially … AND maybe an announcement of when will the 3G Iphone will be released.
My Questions are:
1) Mark, and those who unlocked they Iphone, how is it working for you so far? any problems?
2) How is the EDGE connection working for you guys? and is it really a big deal to get the 3G virsion instead of the EDGE?
3) Would it make any difference if you get it from the US or Europe? (Heard the Europe virsion have more features than the US … is it true?
