peeps that say Dubai is really expensive don’t know what expensive is. Dubai is more expensive than it used to be, yeh, but try Tokyo, London or Germany

DXB is behind in public transport and in fuckin urban planning.. so 85 seems about right.

It’s like a shit version of Phoenix really..

  11. When comparing Dubai to other cities, you should compare all factors. London, New York, Tokyo are expensive, yes, but you have a quality of life that goes along with that expensive lifestyle.

You have culture, you have infrastuctures, you have medicare, you have public transportation, you don’t have a million and one cranes working round the clock, etc.

That’s why people say Dubai is expensive. It’s because you pay so much for rent and food and services, but you’re not really getting much in return.

Oh, and Talal, I agree, I heard Abu Dhabi too :) I just hope it won’t become like Dubai.

  12. I meant, I heart Abu Dhabi too (not heard…)

I live now in Dubai, and I used to live in Kuwait 6 months ago. I heard that Dubai is much nicer, but my experience here in Dubai was not as great. Believe it or not, I’m packing my stuff and heading back to Kuwait. In my opinion Dubai is way way way overrated.
