No more Burger King for me!
A local blogger called Ansam found rotten tomatoes in her Whopper at Burger King. If that wasn’t bad enough the manager there didn’t even apologize for it! Last month it was Hardees with their bug sandwich and now its Burger King with their rotten tomatoes. I guess I am only going to be eating at McDonalds from now on. [Link]

why everytime i c some post about ppl finding a rotten tomatoe, bug, hairball or a whole chicken head i feel like there is more story behind it and ppl trying to make those resturants look bad.
perhaps if the poster shot a viedo of him in the resturant then directly without cuts or transitions in video the sandwich :\

I once found what looked like a rotten and frayed shoe lace in my burger king spicy bean burger sandwich…

I’ve given up diet coke and lost 3 kilos……..I think the whole diet drink thing is a con…..as I have been drinking ‘fat’ coke instead.What’s all that about? As for fast food- drop it and order pastamania instead. I am now a confirmed fan and the only think I get at MacD’s is the ice cream.

a few years back,j we were eating at a restaurant in abbasiya. we found a cockroach head in the food. we took it back. they gave us more food, and admitted they had a roach problem. the restaurant was called shahi tandoori.

I got a frd in Mac Donald who work in the management never eats at Mac Donald.. btw i’m starting to think it’s only corporate tryin to destroy a competitor.. and people are using blogs such as urs to gain their target.. or maybe not i don’t know.. I eat burgers in the house (the best way)

I think it’s pretty rude to question Ansam’s credibility and accuse her of lying after her ordeal…
i have uploaded my disgusting pictures… they are not fake, the thing coming out of the sandwich was dark green plasticish thing that had shrivilled and shrunk down from the heat of the sandwich… g63
and we have not stepped one foot in Burger King ever since… thats 5 years now!!!

That’s what you get for ordering fast food. Many of my friends got sick from eating from Mcdonalds, Hardees, Burger King, Kentucky, etc.
It’s really not that delicious when compared to home cooked food.

The worrying thing about Kuwait is not just cleanliness but a lot of the expired footstuff seems to be sold to very reputable restaurants and franchises – this is a major problem.

FAH of buzberry told me that you linked my post here!
First of all, I posted the pictures because I was so pissed at the reaction of the manager… I even asked him for the HQ number and he was like, look up the poster! He did not seem very cooperative, he only offered a “fresh” new one! (not even an apology)
I told him I will take it public and I have pictures… he seemed fine with it!
I was so disgusted, I used to like their burgers…. I dont care if you guys believe it or not and I dont feel like I need to justify any of it to any of you!
Oh and by the way….. I dont need that kind of “attention”.

2 month ago i went to MAKI avenues, and found WORM on the green leaves of nano sushi.. i called the manager and i showed him. i swear HE DID NOT APOLOGIZE .. all what he said, do you want me to cross it out of ur bill or do you want me to bring you another one?
and he lifted the plate, but i told him wait give me the plate i want to take picture and to my surprise he waited for me to take picture of the plate with worm..
a month ago, i went to avenues MAKI stupid me, and i found HAIR with edemame, again i called the manager and i was like, seriously, last time worm this time hair what’s next?
and he was like oh sorry i’ll replace it and will give u free sushi !!!

For myself, it’s been 7 years i haven’t ate from a fast food place, why because they are really not doing anything good for the body except filling it up with fat.

The fork wasn’t washed well and dried food was still on it. Then i got 2 hairs in the main dish. The only thing the manager could give me was excuses and reasons how could this happen. Lame.

i have ordered Mc Donalds Big Tasty couple of times from which 3 times i gotthe buger frozen hard ( from mirqab outlet, and gulfstreet too)
buggerking needs to check their salad selections hasnt been all that fresh off late (the crunch is missing in the lettuce)
I still prefer hardees or happy burger in hawally
or personally make em my self :D thts the best!

Guys and Mark,
this is not the first time, it happened with my family too, several times, specially when you have high nose philipinos working there with less salary. They dont care what we are eating, and how fresh is the veg.
It happened twice with me, where i found once fungus on bread and once burned frech fries … and BK replaced both for me.
BK use to be very nice place for me and family, but after that day i stopped going there, and now the best place (till date) is mecdonalds, its going to be almost 3 years i did not have BK … tho i miss it but its good for my family’s health to be away from them.

Helloooo , you don’t need Pic’s to know that Burger King sucks . Just try it. Yuck. Hardees Bites big time too. Mickey D’s is the only Decent Fast food gig in town. Saying that, it’s all crap and its bad for you. REAL BURGERS HAVE REAL MEAT. by the way I tried the Burger Club at the Avenues , the beef patty in the burger brought back memories ( like 80’s house burgers ) the meet was straight out of Khazaan Ay Lakaan ;) nothing wrong with CO-OP Burgers , but I wouldn’t want to pay 2 KD plus for one.

I agree with Ansam about bad experience with how the manager handle such complaint, the fact that they are in a customer service field. however, it is easy take out order & inject something into it that will definitely give a bad impression to the company as a whole. Technology nowadays is very sophisticated, an ugly guy can be a good looking person in a CLICK. read between the lines….

To the people who say that McDonald’s is the only place where it’s safe to eat fast food, I disagree. It might be the better choice amongst the rest but still don’t be so sure. Remember the chicken head incident in the chicken nugget thing in the U.S. back a few years ago? Not only that, I received an email just recently telling me that a family ordered from McDonald’s in Kuwait (the one at the sea front) and found a worm on the lettuce of their daughter’s happy meal chicken burger. There are pictures to prove it. The manager just gave them a free meal coupon =S.

u know what guys im one of the staff of burgerking ok but we have following standards procedure that we have to make and to inform all of u that filipin0 kn0ws how to make good burger ok even yes we recieve less salary but we kn0w and understand thats the f0od and we ate that as our staffmeal too. we are hired to work and we kn0w how to do our job properly ok. So if u dont to want to eat in burgerking thats ok your n0t only our cust0mers there is lot cust0mer still eating in our restaurant and to inform u n0t only burgerking commit mistakes all restaurant too ok,NO BODYS PERFECT.
